Ive voted "no" but that doesnt stop me loading up Newsnow every 5 mins of the day! I've still not been convinced enough to shell out for a season ticket, and have lost my regular slot. A quality 5-7m signing will push me into getting one tbh.

For me it really is going to depend on what happens in the summer, and this year I'm serious! I know where your coming from Rev I too have made good friends going to the Villa but I think they're undecided too. Too many games watching underperforming overpaid players for me.

Oh yes, supporting Aston Villa is about nothing more than buying a ticket and going down to the ground for ninety minutes. On the field activities happen in complete isolation to what happens off the field. :? Or does supporting a football team involve many aspects and not just being there at match day? Supporting Villa is 100% about supporting the team on the pitch, i'm afraid all other aspects of supporting the club comes second to that. You are simply not going to change the chairman through silly protests, he has been our chairman for decades and despite all the other silly and rather embarrassing protests in the past he is still our chairman. Ellis may be gone in 6 months, maybe a year and he maybe still here in five years (god forbid) but when he does go please don't think it's because of anything the "VFC" have done because whatever they or you do it's all water off the ducks back to Doug because he's made of tough stuff. So just bide your time and wait, because he'll be gone sooner rather than later, but please just get behind the team and put a stop to talk of all these silly protests because they're embarrassing us big style. your so right ! why dont we just all carry on spending £500+ a season to follow the club we love when its obvious our own ambitions arnt being matched. If DOL and the players were saying they were happy then it would be easier to take but they are not. You want to support the team great !, but take you head out the sand and realise theres nothing wrong with wanting the best for your club, including a decent Chairman, and players. We're sinking fast !

Going through the board in the past few days there's been plenty of talk once again of protests against Ellis/the board. Which if any would you choose to back ? Or any new ideas ? ........................ I would like to see some kind of action and I will participate as others on here will do, so can we back one idea over another ? or shall we not bother ? lets not make this into a slagging match guys!

but Id say UDLC and Barry need replacing (although UDLC will be hopefully when a CB returns). We need a quality left winger to replace Barry who's just too inconsistant. Whittingham for me isnt a good enough replacement either, so forget Beattie DOL buy a left winger and a replacement right back.
