  1. Thoughts on this? Big sporting weekend with this fight, UFC 83 & us against the scummers. Can Calzaghe extend his unbeaten run? Should he fight a bigger name/better fighter than Hopkins at 43?

  2. General, I know you don't usually comment on transfers but can you give us any assurance that there are no deals agreed for any of our players to leave the club? Ashley Young has been strongly linked to Liverpool & Rafa Benitez has even said that he has a deal done for an Englishman who can play on the right, this could be attributed to both Young & Gabby.

Anyway, pass on my regards to the team & MON for a great performance yesterday, especially from Petrov and Barry.

  3. Hayden

    Gemma Atkinson

    Jessica Alba

    Danielle Lloyd

    Sarah Harding

    Cheryl Cole

    Holly Willoughby

    Jennifer Ellison

    Adriana Lima

    Kara Tointon

Only a quick list, didn't have time to look through them all! Hayden would always be on top  .... Of the list.

  4. Floyd is getting $20 million for his match.
    sourceage?

It was on a few wrestling sites but apparently it was a "work." The real figure I think is $1-$2 million + a % of the buy rate.

I also forgot to mention that Money Mayweather will take Hatton apart again.

  5. Just got done watching UFC 82 and i'm so happy Anderson won. :D

Now for the really weird part. I had a dream about a month or 2 ago about this fight, both fighters had the same trunks on in the dream as they did in the fight and it finnished in the exact same way - rear naked choke. I went crazy when Silva won and then thought about the dream and it felt really weird.

Kind of pissed of the Lesnar isn't fighting over here, i'm still in two minds over whether or not to go.

  6. I thought the Lesnar fight was abit of a joke

the same referee caught Tibau hitting Griffin on the back of the head earlier in the night, and he shouted 'watch the back of the head' and tapped his head, i thin khe did it twice (not sure though)

in the momentum Lesnar hit Mir in the back of the head as Mir's head was turning, instead of the warning he used earlier in the fight, he stood them up when Lesnar was ina a dominant position and took away a point.

it was pretty screwy, nice finnish by Mir. It made my leg hurt watching it.

Serra - St.Pierre in 2 months, should be a good fight but St.Pierre will kick some ass.

Has anyone here been to a live event? They're apparently coming over again in the summer and i'd love to get to it.

  7. I think Brock could be a real force tbh, he just needs to get some more experience. 9 hours a day in the gym and it was over so quickly. Minotauro vs Mir for the HW title down the line?

Henderson vs Silva should be a great fight next month, my money's on the Spider.

  8. God, what a shit weekend, flu, Villa were shit and my guy loses!!

Lesnar kicked Mir's ass all fight but his inexperience caused him to leave his leg in & he was caught by a world class Jiu-Jitzu artist. Atleast Lesnar chose to fight a great fighter for his first fight rather than some nobody. Lesnar lost his first amatuer wrestling match and we all know what happened after that. I got 3 out of 4 prediction right so I didn't do too bad.

  9. For anyone else who cares:

    Source: TheSun.co.uk

UK Newspaper The Sun is reporting that the UFC is pushing for Brock Lesnar to headline the company's next PPV event from London, England: UFC 86 in June.

UFC President Dana White recently confirmed that the June 14th show will take place from London’s O2 Arena.

Insider sources told The Sun that Lesnar is the man they want to headline the important London show because of the huge international popularity he generated from his WWE career. UFC is working hard to secure London as a bankable market and they know Lesnar will draw a lot of interest.

Sweet, I need to get to this. I'm a Lesnar mark :)
