I think Bastian Schweinsteiger will stay at FC Bayern his entire career, much like Scholes at United and Del Piero at Juventus.

Miroslav Klose is worth a shot again, he hasn't set the world on fire this season and rumors have faded a bit. I know Bayern are

supposed to be interested, and he would go there, but if not then toss a bit of money on the table and we're alright.

Robbie Keane has showed that he is a good player this season, but him together with Carew is a little dangerous as both are players

known for not scoring enough goals. I don't want Craig Bellamy. Every player is a 50/50, either they work out or they don't. With

him there is an equal percentage of falling out with someone inside the club. That is a risk I don't want to take. The first priority should

be Darren Bent no doubt about it. He is a great player and he can easily score 15-20 goals every season. And, he is English. Competition

will be fierce if Charlton relegate, but if he is not a priority then I really want some answers.

I read somewhere that Klose has had talks with Bayern but i've also heard they've already signed Luca Toni so they might not sign him. 99% certain he wouldn't join but it's worth a try.....with a huge money carrot dangled infront of his nose.

Although prob a non starter but none of the top clubs have gone for them yet after a good few years of rumours??. i would like us to go for the following Euro Talent:-

Klass Jan Huntelaar

Philip Lahm (would be class at right back)

Bastian Schweinsteiger

Would jump at the chance for all of them but i'd highly doubt any of them would join.

So we shouldn't sign someone based on what club they play for? Boruc is a good improvement on Sorensen & it shouldn't matter if he comes from Celtic, Dagenham & Redbridge or Real Madrid, if they're good enough & want to join then why not?

^ I've heard that Madrid & Barca are both interested & i've heard figures from £10million to £20 million :shock:

Parker is a little bit hit and miss, still over rated i reckon.

hes got a lot of fans on here but if you speak to some newcastle fans the opinion of him is not very high

Could work in our favour then. IIRC he almost signed when DOL was here but Ellis wouldn't sanction the move.

Van Bommel would do a job for us and although no spring chicken he would certainly be a step up in quality from McCann.

Only just moved to Bayern this summer and i doubt he'd join. Would be a great signing though.

The former Italian international forward joined City from Valencia last summer but has failed to make an impact and his agent has been touting a return to play for Lazio in recent days.

Villa though are now being linked with a shock swoop as boss Martin O'Neill weighs up his options for next season.

Corradi, who was one of the players believed to have been the target of Richard Dunne's critical comments about foreign players recently, has also been quoted in Italy as making unflattering remarks about City boss Stuart Pearce's tactics.

Aston Villa are eyeing Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster.

The Birmingham Mail says there are doubts inside Villa over Thomas Sorensen's ability to dominate his penalty area and manager Martin O'Neill is eyeing alternatives.

Villa already have United teammate Phil Bardsley on-loan this season and boss Martin O'Neill has been impressed by Foster's form at Watford. A similar deal at Villa Park could be setup for the England cap in the summer.

Not necessarily, they might have thought he was overpriced because they're arsenal or manure or they might have just never been in for him.
