  1. Emile Mpenza has really fallen from grace
  2. Paulie Malignaggi in a pink sweatsuit along with Clay Davis>>>>_______
  3. Welterweight boxers, eh? Floyd would do it on his own tbf.
  4. One Paulie Malignaggi. Paulie Malignaggi>>>>T-Rex's.
  5. I'm the former IBF Light Welterweight champion who hails from Brooklyn New York
  6. It was free to air. 3 people had a heart attack when he won & a breif halt was called to the civil war.
  7. Haven't you learned anything in the last year? Boxing isn't about size, it isn't about a few pounds. Pac started at 106 and just destroyed two boxers who are naturally a lot bigger. Mayweather's style means size really becomes irrelevant, doesn't mean anything. Mayweather will sit on the ropes and Pacquiao will look to pick holes with quick, sharp punches. Mayweather has the perfect punch to disabled a southpaw, the lead right hand. And there's absolutely no way that Mayweather stops Pacquiao, not a chance. It's a 50/50 fight that needs to happen. People said that Pac wouldn't stop Hatton. Have you not learned anything either? Pac has been stopped at lower weights before and has barely even been hit at above 135. We'll see how his chin stands up against a guy coming in at a strong 150, with a good camp behind him. There's no denying Pac is a great, great fighter but Mayweather is special. Pac might have destroyed two big fighters recently, but DLH was dead and Hatton didn't connect with anything and fought like an absolute amatuer.
  8. No chance. Really? None at all? I could understand if you slightly favoured Mayweather but it is a fight that could feasibly go either way. For example bookies will probably come down in slight favour of a favourite, but it doesnt mean they'll be giving the other guy no chance, the odds will be close. At this moment in time i would favouor Pacquiao myself. But only just. Floyd is bigger than anyone he's faced. Floyd is better than anyone he's faced. Pac throws wild punches coming forward which Floyd will counter and eventually stop him late on. I think Floyd will have to put in a very good performance to win & it'll be tough, but I don't see Pac winning.
  9. After Manny Pacquiao's two round destruction of Ricky Hatton on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, promoter Bob Arum told reporters that Pacquiao's next fight will likely come against WBA welterweight champion Miguel Cotto in either November or December. He said Pacquiao will be in New York to sit ringside at Madison Square Garden for Cotto's fight against Joshua Clottey. While many would expect a fight between Pacquiao and the winner of the July 18 bout between Juan Manuel Marquez and Floyd Mayweather Jr, Arum has a lot of heat with Mayweather and his manager Al Haymon. There could also be some very big problems with making the fight when it comes to the split of the money. Mayweather is sure to want at least 50% or more, and Arum has already said that Pacquiao will be getting the bulk of the money if the two sides every sit down to negoiate a possible fight. Since Arum promotes both Pacquiao and Cotto, it's a much easier fight for him to make. I mentioned the purse problems on another forum & sadly I might have been right. I still think it'll be resolved at some point.
  10. No chance. Wanna bet on it? Yep (I don't have any money) Some kind of other proposition?
  11. Just look at the names he has worked with. I cant see Hatton going out on a defeat. He has too much pride. He annihilated Paulie Malignaggi less than six months ago so he isnt washed up at all. He had a bad night against the kind of fighter you dont want to have a bad night against. I think he seriously underestimated Pac's punching power and he paid for it. Hatton will definitely have a fight in Manchester. Whether he calls it a farewell fight or not he will have one back in front of his home fans. He is still good enough to beat boxers ranked in the top ten and there are probably plenty of up and coming fighters who might want to get a name like Hatton on their CV. Hatton will fight again this year. Cant see him fighting on into 2010 though. He beat the shit out of the ghost of Malignaggi who had the worst trainer in the history of boxing. Hatton has never been a true, TOP level fighter. Too one dimensional and unable to adjust. He'll take an easy payday in Manchester against a C-level fighter (kind of like what Calzaghe did for most of his career) and retire.
  12. Junior Witter would appriciate it after calling him out for years. Him/Khan would sell out the CoMS but it'd only last about 2 rounds again Both not great fights but what do you expect after that beating. ****, he could even give Paulie a rematch seeing as he's got a competent trainer now :winkold:
  13. Manny landed 10 more punches in that fight than Hatton did in the entire fight against Floyd
  14. Let's not forget to give props to Freddie Roach who (chillingly, in a way) predicted that Pac would do him inside 3 rounds.
  15. It's not just about only losing two, he was BRUTALLY beaten & ko'd in both fights. He's on a downward spiral. I see one more fight in Manchester against easy opposition and then that'll be it for him
  16. I don't see why Hatton should get a rematch against Floyd. He was schooled that night. It's like saying Pavlik deserves one against Hopkins or Paulie deserving one against Hatton.
  17. Seen the weigh in pics, so much for the so- called size difference....I'm sticking with my pick, Pac-man in the 11th. Hatton wont be 140lbs tomorrow. He will be a lot heavier. Pac has bulked up to reach this weight. And @djdabush, KO and T/KO are essentially the same thing for the sake of this poll. Of course Hatton will be bigger but it's not like Manny won't put anything on either. When I watched the weigh-in, I could see no real size difference either. Going for Pac.
  18. Pac comes in at 138lbs. Hatton in at 140lbs.
  19. As reported on TheSun.co.uk May 1, WWE Superstar Batista will be appearing in the corner of Manny Pacquiao in his fight this weekend. Pacquiao will be fighting Ricky Hatton this Saturday, as he defends the Undisputed World Light Welterweight Title. More on this can be read here.
  20. He's also (quite hilariously) slagged off Manchester earlier in the week Talk of Hatton splitting with him after this fight.
