  1. I still fondly remember grinding up to level 20 near the start of FFVII (the tunnel where you jump off the train.) If you go backwards there is a constant stream of enemies at the end that you can fight over and over. Easy XP and you get plenty of items at the end of the battles!

  2. On pancakes (true story, this):

There's a pancake house in Arcen (outskirts of Venlo) called De Bosrand (sure I've mentioned it previously) that does - no word of a lie - the greatest pancakes I have ever eaten.

Anyway, up until a few years back my Uncle and Aunt were still living out in Rheindahlen. My Uncle worked for the RAF in telecommunications and was offered the same job as a civvy when he came to the end of his service, so he got to stay out there with his family for a few years. This great for us, as we could regularly holiday back to the area we used to live on the cheap, and everytime we did we'd make sure to include a visit to De Bosrand into any day trips to Venlo (for those unfamiliar with the geography of the area, Venlo is only about a 40 minute drive across the border from Rheindahlen).

The last time we went there (must have been a good 3 years or so now), my Aunt asked the waiter if she could have lemon juice on her pancake. I'm presuming that this is very much a British thing, as of all the various sweet and savoury options on the menu this was not one of them. The waiter did confirm that - though a lot of the Brits that pop in do tend to ask for the lemon juice/sugar combo - it's never something they've really done, but he did have an alternative. This is near enough exactly what he said:

"No, we don't haf any leamonsch; what we do haf, we haf this shpeshul fruut over here, itsch much schmaller then a leamon but itsch very schtrong - like a shtrong leamon - and if you like, we can bring one for you to squeesh."

So my Aunt takes him up on this offer, and we spend the next 10 minutes debating what the hell this strange, seemingly exotic fruit could be. Rare Dutch produce perhaps? Something we'd never seen before? We were very eager to find out what this mystery fruit was.

    It was a lime.

He brought over a lime wedge, in a ramekin.

He had such wonderment on his face as well, as if he'd just unveiled the Turin Shroud on our table.

  3. daz316 is going to come one here thinking "wow, look at all the great advice".. and will find this instead!

quick, someone write a poem about Daz's situation, so he feels included...

I believe I did, and that's what started this whole thing

  4. irreverentad has a lady with needs

He can't believe his luck doing these dirty deeds

She likes to stick things of mass

    All up in her ass

No not that irreverentad, she means her beads

I have read that 4 times and I still cannot make it flow!

Maybe it's because when I read your user name I just go "Irrev..." :winkold:

  5. tis a football forum ..did you expect poetry and flowers ? :-)

There was a user called DazThreeSixteen

He married a Russian who was overly keen

    It all happened so quick

He found she didn't want his dick

Just a card that was coloured in green

    **** you, it rhymes.

  6. I meant toying of your own sexual partners tradesman's entrance, rather than Ads or Shillzz's Mrs.....

Dante's I think will offer it as an "extra" if you insert the correct number of high denomination banknotes into her g-string.

She's a stripper, not a hooker. I'm all for banter and piss taking but only if it is relevant.

  7. ^5 dude. I'm in the same situation (apart from previous marriage and kid).

5 times the other day. She also likes the thrill of 'maybe being caught' so it could be interesting. Personally I've never been sexually adventurous due to my exs not being it so I'm going to be trying everything that is thrown my way.

  8. Wow, I suck at this game.

Unbeaten until late October and in 4th place with Villa.

14th place in January, with only one or two goals scored in 3 months, losing every game by at least 3 goals. Sacked. Laptop out of window. Sulk. Girlfriend laughs at me. I don't remember much after that.

    XD

It can be a bitch of a game. How hard is it to sell players at the start? I'm really struggling to offload some high earners so I can get my wage bill down.

Managed to get rid of Dunne for 2.5m but I still have to pay him 20k a week as he wouldn't move otherwise. Beye got sold for 250k, luckily no wage contributions there, but thats it. Still waiting on someone to make a move for Petrov (3m) and Ireland (3.5m) but no-one has offered owt yet. Heskey is a non mover even at 200k. Might offer him a mutual termination. Debating sticking Bent up for sale but I can't see anyone offering anything above 15m for him, even that if I'm lucky.

  9. Haha, I sicken myself sometimes

I'll get a fair bit done I reckon. Plus when I do see her it'll be all the more amazing 8)

I'm gonna download FM12 and spend most of the free time sorting Villa out and watching 24 with beer and pizza.

  10. For me IX was my favourite. I just loved the setting, the story, the characters... the ability system was also one of my favourites. Was a breath of fresh air after the flawed 'junction' system of VIII.

I also enjoyed XIII, I know a lot of people didn't. The battle system was pretty good, the graphics are superb, the characters were interesting and I loved the weapon/accessory upgrading. I might get it again cheap for another play through.
