Really? Because I was thinking along the lines of as long as we don't turn it over on offense and gift you points we will score enough to win, as your O won't be able to get it going consistently.
Just had a look through past VT Superbowl threads, with regard to polls. Last year split was 50:50 but before that (back to and including Colts/Bears), the poll has correctly predicted the winner.
I'm intrigued by what the point spread would be depending on who we play. Obviously I'll find out for 1. Would guess Seattle would be 2/3 pt faves and SF would be same spread but dogs, maybe bit higher spread.
Also funny how all week every article I read was about how NE had this amazing running game that we had to stop or we'd lose, neither QB was really going to matter in the end and it would come down to who could run it better.
Must admit I really, really expected us to fail at some point in the playoffs and not get there. :D
