she would be drunk as a skunk. Riley would be making you go wobble wibbleVorders would have you tied up, crumbling choccy digestives into your mouth.

Sorry, thought this was the cricket thread.
No Grasshopper

I'm totally behind Team Ostrich. The only thing is, they'd need a really good defence, because their goalie would be shite, with those stubby little wings. Maybe they could get a cat or a gibbon to live among them for long enough to qualify under the residence rule?
I was always Team Dodo until they went out of business
Re your team I once criticised them and found myself ostracized

political editor at the bbc ex leader of young Tory . Chairman of bbc ex Tory cabinet member .....Considering who owns the majority of media, it's not a surprise.
Though, in my opinion, the Beeb has let us down badly over the last couple of years.
The run up to the Euros was a bad joke.

i am mate it's very local for me :-) totally agree with what you are saying. Let's see what happens this half
what over reaction? Reality is simple to see the club is more than just the first eleven and the manager dictates so much that goes on . What the unfortunate of us here are witnessing is a perfect example of the tripe that lambert and others have given the club. It's a squad and whole playing thing and we as a club struggle to play football the right way now. Call it over reaction but it's a bit obvious . Still I can have a beer after the game and be home pretty quick so cest la vieOvereactions as per usual...Robinson looks like a very good player....
You there Ian? If you are I hope you get served up something a little better in the second half than the tripe you have had to witness fist hand during that first 45 mins. You'd have hoped that the likes of Bennett and Lowton would have been looking to impress to get starting spots come the first game and the others look to impress and push for a place in the early 18 man match day squads.

A club at all levels reflects the manager . Tonight we see a true lambert type team

Some absolutely terrible performances going on. Let's hope none of these make it anywhere near the squad

So the donations were not from Russians ?
-
So hypocrite cameron gladly receives russian donations and lets the uk keep supplying russia with arms while shedding crocodile tears and mock rage at putin

Ok I did get sheep's legs and frog in the Chinese restaurant but it was close enough
You asked him for a woolly jumper didn't you?

We had a guy once explain to us the whole point where water turns into ice, we were so pleased with his clear explanation that we cheered him
"Freeze a jolly good fellow .........."

Chinese people.
Or at least the ones I encountered on holiday, which was quite a lot.
Hands down the rudest people I've ever seen/met/encountered.
Shocked me.
Russian's easily win that battle as the rudest

Yet another example of why Murdoch should not be allowed to run any sort of media outlet - the Tulisa trial collapses because of the Sun telling lies
-
Barbados easily.
Been to a couple of places there saying once in HoleTown and the other at the Hilton (near Garrison Savana). Very friendly and civilised island with some great beaches - I liked the one near the Hilton the best but we all have different views on what is good.
PR is edgy IMO and it's western influence is based on US, which doesn't make for the perfect honeymoon.

Surely it was obvious It was a light hearted joke .... I went out with a South African for about a year I'm sure that permits me a small joke on the subject
was that Bok in the day?

Ignoring Tony's comments re SA - it's a absolutely stunning place to go. I have been there many times and love it.
Firstly remember it's cheap compared to the UK at least. The exchange rate at the moment gives you a lot more for your pound. Your itinerary looks pretty good and starting off in CT is probably a good idea if you have never been before, personally I would try and add at least another day to the 2 days you have allocated - remembering you land in the morning after and overnight flight. There are some stunning scenery and cultural places to visit around there. Driving around is pretty safe if you are sensible and they drive on the "correct" side of the road :-)
Not doing Durban?
If you want I can ping one of my mates who used to own a small hotel in CT and now lives in ZAM for advice?

BA will be getting the
Hair dryer treatment when i get back
I can live with the plane going techie these things happen
But bloody union rules meant that they got us a new plane and had it fuelled and ready to go only for it to transpire that it meant the crew would go over their allotted hours and thus weren't allowed to fly
3 hours we sat on a plane waiting for new crew before somebody pulled the plug and we all had to get off and catch the 17:40 flight having got back to Heathrow at 12:00 having taken off at 11:00
Missed my connecting flight to Iran and have had to pay £300 for a new ticket tomorrow and a hotel for tonight , BA should pay for it all but I bet they don't without a fight
That has nothing whatsoever to do wit union rules as you well know - that is a safety thing that is employed by lots of airlines all over the world
BA just has crap customer care these days, has rapidly gone down since Walsh made it into London Airways

well i went to amsterdam a few years back for a weekend took 300 euro's ended up spending a grand i hope for it not to go that way this time lol
yeah Hookers will do that to a man :winkold:
ATM's are safe to use over there so you wont run out .. try and avoid the cash booths as they will give you a crap rate
No they are not !! - had my credit card scammed twice in my life both times in Budapest
Like anywhere there can be problems - Budapest is on our list from work where we have to take a bit more care

Even Lambert's socks finish in the bottom half (of his calves)?
When asked about them it was apparently down to a fault at the suppliers, he was asked about what was going to happen and he replied
"they sew again "

I think you use of the words "a lot" is very misleading.
Zero hours contracts certainly "helps" employers and maybe a few employees but it certainly is the minority of the latter

hello ahhh but Labour, been on hols?
If we learnt anything from New Labour it's that you have to resign at least twice before anyone questions your judgement at being hiredIt was bad enough that Cameron hired him but what makes his stance worse is the inaction that followed.
The story of News Group paying Gordon Taylor a settlement broke in July 2009. This blew NI's 'One Rogue Reporter' line out of the water (after all why would a Royal correspondent be interested in the PFA Chairman's messages). What sort of leader would do nothing in this situation possibly having been lied to in person?
Cameron's view at the time was:
However, a spokeswoman for Cameron said the Tory leader was "very relaxed about the story".
Coulson did not resign until 2011.
