I seriously have never seen such a bunch of absolute moaners like you lot!!!! It beggars belief. Moan, moan, moan. I think there is a very good chance from what I have been told, that N'Zogbia will be a Villa player. And what's more we have some excellent youngsters coming through who need first team action more regularly now. Bannan and Allbrighton will get more game time. Oh and we have signed an excellent keeper in Shay Given. Have you heard of the word positive?!

We are being made to look stupid!!! For god's sake Villa, agree the fee and sign CNZ because he is the quality we need in our team. There is NO need to drag this out......really infuriating. Sort it!!!!!

Tony h, Randy and MON do not see eye to eye is what I have been told.... Now, MON may if he wants to..walk away...but I think he knows Villa is a good job... That doesn't mean that things are all hunkydory in private.

And those replies above were for you Choffer...sorry should have stated your name in the posts. Apparently we did receive a fax from Liverpool re: MON and told them to go away.

From what I hear though, we have no money unless players are sold!!! And it is also been speculated that MON and Randy don't get on that well but that MON is here for now because there is in Randy's eyes no one better for the job. Not my words... But I hope to god that we do have money (apart from player sales) as we need to get a creative midfielder and 2 strikers!!!

MON needs to wake up quickly. And get his **** blinkers off with HESKEY. The guy is a nice guy, but he is a shit striker. We lose 90% of games we play with him because he does NOT score goals. He is a donkey who is past his sell by date. If MON does not smell the coffee soon, he will go because we will lose lots of games with him playing. I am not saying it is all Heskey's fault, of course i am not. But the squad is ridiculously thin and in 3 months MON has done nothing to sort that and indeed hasn't replaced our BEST 2 players either. We are quite frankly in the proverbial SHITE. Shorey is appalling. Davies' confidence is shot and our midfield is not strong enough. Sidwell is poor. Gabby isn't fit. And if MON thinks we are ok in the striking dept then he is living in cloud cuckoo land!! Playing like this is **** awful....tactics are poor and our goals for ratio speaks for itself!!! WAKE UP MON you need 5 players in before 31 August or we are Toast!!!

I think a new goalkeeper is needed ....Boruc from Celtic. I would like us to add at least one centre mid...Sidwell, Barton, Sneijder if possible.... A good centre half....Distin, Ben Haim or someone of that calibre. Young would be a great right back. And up front.....2 strikers (that means 6 new players)......Nugent would be a good addition, as would Robbie Keane...and Darren Bent. I am sure MON knows who he wants to add. Great result on Saturday too!

Hi everyone , I just thought i would try a new angle..........it seems Martin O'Neills attempts to get Premiership players at the top end of the bracket (SWP etc) are floundering as clubs play games, up prices, change minds etc.......... Whilst i do think we should be aiming to sign these types of players to make our squad better.............we could be left with nothing come the end of January. There are many promising young players who could come from the lower leagues into the Villa squad and make it better (an example of another club who did this and it worked is Everton with Tim Cahill from Millwall - a bargain!)..... What do people think if we went for people like Tyson from Forest, Easter from Wycombe or Giles Barnes from Derby. Other players who are available in the Prem who we could get are Diop from Fulham or Etherington from West Ham. The one quality most of these have is pace! They are young (apart from Diop) and will get much much better. I would even consider a cheeky bid for Larrson and McSheffrey from small heath. Comments everyone!

Just spoke to Tim Nash at Express and Star and they are doing a very pro-Lerner article this weekend!!!

This is the email i have sent to the post this morning: Ged Scott's article in the Birmingham Post on 16 August was completely inaccurate and does not in any way portray a true representation of views from the Villa fans. Villa fans want Lerner to take over and can't wait for him to do so! Ged's extremely poor article was based on a minority view of one from a fanzine who no one has EVER heard of (!!). Villa fans are ecstatic at the thought of Randy coming in. Martin O'Neill and Randy will form a great team. Randy has been in contact with all Villa fan groups to canvass their opinions and thoughts! He wants to build a museum to commemorate the achievements of the Villa side who won the title and European Cup. He is in tune with what the fans want and is ready to invest money into the infrastructure, training ground, new players, commercial marketing and much more. Randy Lerner wants success and with Martin O'Neill Villa will get it in time. There will be no casino as people have suggested and his board have great financial and marketing acumen, something Villa have been crying out for ages! I would suggest that Ged Scott stick to the cricket stories because his inaccurate and misleading stories have no basis in fact! Randy is the man! Richard Armstrong Shenstone

Hi everyone, I contacted the editor at the Post last night and told him that i though Ged Scott was an appalling journo whose article about 'Lerner disquiet' was one of the worst written and unfactually based article i had seen. He said that he wants to hear from all Villa fans who were angry with this article and have the Pro-Lerner view and said that we should mail the following email address with our thoughts as they will run the article over the weekend!!! Post_sport@mrn.co.uk Barry Kinghorns email doesn't seem to be working! And i was on Radio WM last night and spoke to Malcolm Boyden and told what a load of chuff that Tony Butler was talking .......and that his sources were not only duff but blatantly wrong..........and Malc agreed with me....... Lerner with O'Neill is the dream ticket!! Randy is the man!!
