Already mentioned on here, but he had a great record in Spain so must be a decent player. For whatever reason it hasnt worked out at West Ham.

Agree with all except Davis and Sorenson. Davis was one of our best players last season but doesnt seem to of been given a proper chance this season, when he played it was out on the left. He still has plenty to offer and will be a top player. I think replacing Sorenson is the least of our worrys! There's probably 2 keepers i'd have, Boruc or Jaskalainen. I think Tommy will be replaced, the two keepers you have mentioned are both superior IMO. I think Ben Foster would be a good addition, but think Man U will want to keep him. Im pretty sure Foster will be spending next season back at Man U. Id have either of the 2 i mentioned but i doubt very much we'll get one of them.

General, I had a great time on the training ground tour today and it was a pleasure to meet you! Just a thought on the new website, ive just been looking on the Chelsea one and its first class. There's a section where all the players introduce themselves when you click on them. I know this is a great way of making the fans feel closer to the club so im hoping something like this will be encourporated into ours.

Just like to say a very big thank you for the whole day today, it was magical and made even better by the lads turning in our biggest win of the season. Really appreciate all the effort that you and the other directors have put in to organise the day. It made the hairs on my neck stand up and im sure silverware for Aston Villa is just around the corner. We ARE going places! Thank you!

At the moment there seems to be 3 names we're being linked to. Boruc, Bellamy and Luke Young. All these players would improve our teams and enable a push for Europe, i believe these are the type of players our focus should be on for now. I dont want MON to go out and buy a whole new team and i dont think he will as its not needed. We are just a few players away from Europe and MON will get them in the summer.

Agree with this. Also i think we should try and sign that Gattuso bloke that played tonight, he looks useful

Sevilla who are challenging for the La Liga title, we cant attract players like that yet.

I rate bellamy and i think he would be a great signing. However i would also prefer Bent and i dont' think £12m is too much consdering how much we paid for young and how many bent has score, consistently and at a young age If it came down to a choice between Bent and Bellamy then i'd go for Bent. Then who knows in a few years time we could have Gabby, Cahill, Young, Moore and Bent representing England consistantly!

It wouldnt be a bad side to have.

Also will the new website be available in different languages? If we are to expand and become a global brand i think this is important!

Whats the latest with the training ground, its been a while since we've had an update as to how the work is going? When is it likely to be finalised? And any chance of arranging tours of the place at a small cost or even free

A full stadium is better than having empty seats. It creates a good atmosphere and creates secondary sales. Obviousl we put a limit on how many we put on offer but whats the point in having 6/7 thousand empty seats? The club would make up the money 'lost' through merchandise and the possibility of gaining a fan for life, i put it like that because if its empty for the game then why not have someone use it? Sports marketing is very different to all other marketing, you cant sell a ticket for a game that has gone. So its better to have a full ground than to have empty seats. Another idea is to have buy one season ticket and get a childs half season ticket for the first half of the season. Then there is the possibility that they will want to get anohter half season ticket for the 2nd half. Therefore the club makes up the money. Say we offer this to the first 10,000 applicants that want an adults ticket and get a childs ticket for the first half of the season free. That means 20,000 plus the other adult season ticket holders, plus general sale tickets. Which equals a full house.

Its great that the stands are no smoking but when you go downstairs at half time you hit a wall of smoke! £500 for what is basically 4 season tickets, that isnt going to happen, double it and that is realistic. the point is about encouraging families, this is the way to do it, I would rather see the staduim full and if this means incentives so be it ... Get the kids in young and they will sty with us forever. As to the comments about the shop, totally agree on the location points, but credit where it is due IMHO I believe it is superior to the shop at VP and is a quality shop in the wrong location. Iguess the problem is a cost thing and whilst the bullring would be nice that is probably too expensive, however due to the bull ring opportunites lie in New Street and High street and the footfall there would make a shop viable. I definitely think promotions on season tickets for families is something that should be looked at. But i was thinking maybe we should offer Buy one adults season ticket and get a kids free. I think this would be very popular. The main aim like you say is to get people into the ground. We can then get secondary sales and possibly a fan for life.

Thats a fantastic idea. I'd love to catch our reserve games on the box. That would be a great idea, however i know the reserves dont get great attendances and i dont know how they compare to man u who show the reserve games on tv. But im guessing we might get just one man and his dog turning up if we were ot show the games. I think the TV channel is a great idea but leave out the reserve games until we get more sucessful.
