I am so happy with MON new players (Harewood needs to convince me) but MON is aware of our lack of depth, I just hope we have time to put it right.

General In your opinion do you think the signings MON is clearly trying to make will match the expectations of so many Villa Talkers and fans. Or are we getting a little over exited to soon ?

I fail to see why everyone is so stressed most players who are not on International duty are on holiday and some leagues are still playing (Spain) I think things will hot up in the next few weeks . And IMO Randy has delivered on all fronts so far , I have no reason to believe he will stop now. Wether the players MO brings in will cut the mustard we will have to wait and see, but one thing is clear he will bring in new players.

They can keep HP as long as we get sneinjereeerrrrrrrr or whatever hes called

Everyone keeps mentioning Bent, can you really see him at Villa Park next year when he will have the option of European football at Tottenham ,Liverpool,etc............ Not that were not a good prospect but it just aint gonna happen.

Drawing Chelse in the carling cup ,Playing Manure 3 times in 3 weeks, then 4 games spaced out over 6/7 weeks have conspired against us to get any kind of run together. Long periods not playing is no good for any player. We have 7 games left with no big gaps in between, just watch us now improve.

Both players IMO would be good squad additions!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Silent Bob some deals will depend on others ie Chelsea wont sell SWP without replacing him as this will only weaken their squad.

I as i think most of you are am now resighned to the fact that our small but effective bit of business for this window is done. Lets get behind the team an push on as high as we can and await the summer slot.

No matter what any of us say this has been a very quiet transfer window so far, I expect it will warm up slightly within the next 24 or so hours but not for us. Why cant they scrap these short windows and go back to the old system, this new system IMO is the reason for Inflated prices as clubs hold each other to ransom for medeocre/unproven players.

Dear General My wifes friend has a seriously ill daughter with West syndrome she is 8 years old and is wheelchair bound and totally helpless to look after herself , her mother is holding a charity evening in febfuary to raise money to take her to the USA to swim with dolphins. She has written to all the local football clubs a while ago asking for a little something to raffle at the evening. West bromwich,Wolves and Birmingham have all sent signed items to raffle but i was horrified as a life long Villa fan to find that the only club not to send anything was my own. Shamed by smaller clubs, a signed ball ,pennant etc...... was this too much to ask ? Could you possibly help , if you require her personal details i can PM you.
