  1. I’m not savvy enough about business or accounting to know what I’m talking about but what I do know is we have 3 billionaire owners who are. Losing the amount we have isn’t great but it will be for a reason.

  2. Watkins is a great back up option to Kane, we need someone who can stretch tiring defences in the knockout stages of tournaments. The semi against Croatia and final against Italy were both screaming out for this. Kane makes it easy for the better teams with him constantly dropping deep to receive the ball. His record in big games at tournaments outside of penalties isn’t great!

Probably yes, although that would leave us 2 pts ahead with the run ins looking like this:

    Villa: West Ham (A), Wolves (H), Man City (A), Brentford (H), Arsenal (A), Bournemouth (H), Chelsea (H), Brighton (A), Liverpool (H), Palace (A)

    Spurs: Fulham (A), Luton (H), West Ham (A), Forest (H), Newcastle (A), Man City (H), Arsenal (H), Liverpool (A), Burnley (H), Shef Utd (A)

Have highlighted the "Sky 7" (inc Newcastle) in red. Both of us have 4 fixtures against the Sky sides, although I think our Chelsea home game is a better bet than Spurs' Newcastle away game. I think Spurs have easier fixtures from the other games - Luton H, Forest H, Burnley H, Shef Utd A are the 4 relegation battlers.

We could really do with Spurs dropping points against Fulham or West Ham, who should be well up for it in London derbies.

IMO it'll go right down to the wire. Main thing is we both need to keep Man Utd out of the mix.

    Spurs also have Chelsea away.

  4. I’ve always liked Watkins, can be frustrating at times but has been an unbelievable signing for us, he seems like a good kid as well. Doesn’t get talked about enough but he’s one of the best around for the timing of his runs. Hardly ever gets caught offside.

How do European spots pan out if 5th place get champions league? Currently we get 7 places (4CL  2EL and 1ECL)

I know if you win a European trophy you qualify as well, Wet Spam this year.

But if we get 5 CL spots next year does the premiere league get 8 spots overall or do we lose a EL or ECL spot.

We will get 8 overall. Can’t work out if it’s better for Liverpool to win the League Cup today, if they do it will mean that we he Conference League place will be awarded for finishing 6/7th. If Chelsea win it and unless they finish top 6 it will go to them.

Good film that. In the extended version, he shagged the blonde peace

Maybe Dougie has let him have a go on Alisha, would explain a lot.

  7. I just didn’t think that Bailey had the footballing brain to be a success in an Emery team, glad to say I know nothing. He’s playing at an elite level at this moment in time, keep it up Leon!

In reality Man Utd are 9 points behind us because of goal difference

Their goal difference alone suggests they should be nowhere near the top 6, it annoys me they are within 8 points off us, I’ve seen a lot of their games and they have been lucky in the 95% of them.

  9. I think Pau might have been carrying a niggle from the start, we barely used him playing the ball out from the back in the first half which was odd given Lenglet had to keep coming back inside to use his left. Apart from 10 minutes either side of half time I thought we were very comfortable.

  10. Can’t say I’m surprised but looks like both him and Mings won’t play this season. Hopefully both will be fully fit for the start of next season. Will be like 2 new signings

  11. Good hardworking player is Watkins, another good attribute he has which is rare in todays game, he’s not a cheat. Never see him get involved in stupidness, does goes about his work efficiently. Good pro, who works tirelessly beyond the scenes on his game!

  12. Mings, Moreno and Ramsey were brilliant together towards the back end of last season. Unfortunately we’ve not been able to play all three together this season. Today I thought Moreno and Ramsey looked bright and were more like they were last season. If you replace Pau for Mings I think we will see another improvement as he’s a better passer and does things early.

Compared to some other teams (Tottenham, Newcastle, Chelsea, Brighton etc.) our injury list hasn't been too bad overall this season. But losing Konsa and Pau at the same time, when Mings is already out for the season, is pretty detrimental it has to be said.

We are without 2 first team players for a season and other 2 for nearly half a season and then when we finally get a few back, we lose Kamara for 3 games, Torres and Digne for over 6 weeks and counting. Tielemans has also missed games injured and now it looks like Konsa. We’ve had it as bad as all the other clubs with nowhere near the squad depth, odd but much like everything else the media never mention this.

I'm really surprised that collision has caused significant damage, that would be really unlucky.

Yeah, it’s surprising. He also walked half way around the pitch and appeared to be sitting normally on the bench.
