  1. All that zombie high jinks looks like a larf
  2. They aaaaaaaalllllll float.... Edit: and even more off topic, I just read they're remaking this miniseries. I don't know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.
  3. You pretty much sum up my thoughts on the game too there Risso. When I returned for the third time in February, I didn't even last a month before chucking it. The magic was gone and I knew the game could never reach the peaks it did when we were all still discovering it. It felt like I was playing it out of a sense of duty rather than because I was having fun. A phenomenal experience but one that I think should remain in my gaming past now...like yourself, I just don't miss it. The next MMO I'm looking forward to is Aion but I can't see that appearing until 2009. In the meantime though, I've just start playing Guild Wars alongside Si and another friend and enjoying it a massive amount.
  4. I don't think I'll bother. Whatever MMO I play in the future, I'd like to try out something new. I realised I'm completely worn out when in comes to WoW during my last brief stint on the game back in February.
  5. Pfft! L2P! QQ
  6. I haven't played since February 2007 and yet even I'm feeling this one. Sad to hear it has all but ended as, despite my gripes with the game just prior to throwing in the towel for good, it was truly gaming gold whilst it lasted for me. Since first rolling in July 2005 and telling Nayson to get his arse involved who in turn got all you involved, the game changed dramatically in feel for me up until I quit but always felt like no other game I'd ever played. It had to end at some point but it's still sad to hear that end has pretty much arrived.
  7. I've decided to return to Warcraft. I'll be rolling a Hunter on Tarren Mill. That Ok, Nayson?
  8. Itsgud2 shirly?
  9. If I knew when you were using it, I'd nip on more often myself when I'm at the PC.
  10. if I still had the game installed and an active account, I could have given you a shitload of gold.
  11. Cybersex in the Deeprun Tram.
  12. Hark! Wouldst thou dare to profane thine righteous crusader of the Almighty? For in certain peril should you find yourself, only thoust repentance shall gain favour! Alas, mine eyes doth gaze upon the impudence of Orc kind. Have at thee! /charge
  13. I could never play a Pally no matter what the game as that holy crusader of God thing just doesn't appeal at all. Undead evil bastard all the way!
  14. How many of you rolled loladins recently?
  15. You know, it's great going back and reading the very start of this thread.
  16. For here on in, I recommend we refer to Blizzard Entertainment as 'The Borg'.
  17. It's hardly a straight up apology though. Every sentence has the word 'maybe' in it when refering to his actions. And in general, has anyone else noticed what a bunch of soppy wet fish some of the people in the Dashers can be? All this talk of heartfelt love for dasherdom with tears in their eyes or rolling down their chin as they say it. It's genuinely disturbing if you ask me. I think some of them have been living in the fantasy land of Azeroth so long that they're begining to substitute their relationships with people in the game with reality.
  18. ...what the **** kind of comments was Sakri making in guild chat about kids!?!?? Did that happen after I left?
  19. Stickin' it to da man!
  20. All that text when all he needed to write was... "I'm more important than all of you and you should treat me as such. Should you force be to bow to my own double standards, you will be branded disrespectful and removed from the guild."
  21. The fact is that there are far too many self important egomaniacs who play World of Warcraft and Shack just happens to be one of them.
  22. Ooh, drama! Come on then, lets hear it; what's happened?
  23. The "token arsehole" problem is different ball game altogether. Of course you can get pissed off if someone is deliberately attempting to spoil the game. However, I'm refering to what Nayson highlighted with my comments.
  24. A bad run for me was more to do with how people on the run reacted to the "bad luck" factor. Those who threw tantrums and hurled blame can just **** off and die. Those who took it all in their stride, keeping the fact it's only a game in perspective, made any run no matter how many wipes a great piece of gaming. The latter is a dying breed due to obsessive WoW addiction. /lament.
  25. The pair of you should just agree to disagree and forget about it.
