Where is Baker St in relation to the ground?
-
Trains seem to be mega expensive, especially from Manchester.
-
Nerves have set in big time now.
Defeat will totally destroy my weekend. I guess my mood will be going one of two ways.
-
Looks like quite a bit of the underground network is closed over parts of the weekend.
Great planning! :x

Anyone travelling down from manc.
Doing some research atm, i may have to borrow my flat mates UTD shirt and get one of their supporters buses down then when i get there switch to my Villa shirt.
GRIM
I am, but am getting a train down on the saturday.
You could just get the supporters bus in a Norwich scarf . Better than wearing anything ManUre.

Benitez is so poor, it's a shame the deal was a loan and not permant
I though they bought him for £9m or something like that?

I went on live betting on PaddyPower last night.
Whacked 50p on Everton to win 3-1.
At 500-1.
Crazy odds.
Nearly pocketed £250 aswell!
At what stage in the game were the odds that long?
-
Hoping for a 3-0 win, expecting a 1-0 win and preparing myself for a 0-0 draw.
Defeat is not in question (hopefully).

Obviously these guys only listened to what ITV had to say.
Great noise from the palace fans too. Villa very quiet. Sing when they're drawing indeed. The fans were amazing, what a great atmosphere it was. The place was absolutely rocking today, and i enjoyed every minute of it. Everyone went mental after Ambrose's goal, and we just outsang Villa most of the game as they only sang when they scored.Reading the other posts they seem to genuinely believe they created the greatest atmosphere of all time yesterday.

Think the ref had a decent game for a change.
Only bad decisions I remember was Dunne getting hacked again, and him missing a blatant corner from a deflection that ManUre should of had.

Woohoo more Wednesday night home games!

Hi General,
With regards to the screen/scoreboard at VP, Just wondering if it has ever been considered to let the clock continue after the 45 minutes are up?
I was getting very frustrated and anxious not knowing how much of injury time had elapsed last night, especially when you take into consideration the infamous Fergie time.

Thought Delph was our best player yesterday, but I just know the only possible substitution that would be made would be Delph for Carew. Why doesn't he take a look at the action rather than have a set list of the order in which the players need to be on th epitch (ie, if he's been brought in for this game then he is first to get substituted no matter what). I would much rather of seen Downing or god forbid Petrov go off for Carew.
Once Petrov picked up his knock, I would much rather of seen Salifou come on than Sidwell. Not exactly much balance in a central midfield pairing of Milner and Sidwell is there.

It's not Villa's fault all the Southern fairy clubs refused to turn professional. It's not like the clubs didn't exist.
-
Oh that must be why they are taking the national football museum away from Preston then. It was there because they won the first ever league title, but obviously that title has reduced value now.
-
Good to have you back General, gutted you can't make the final.

Do Weatherspoons do breakfasts, fancy a good breakfast before the Silverspoon party
Yeah you can usually get a pretty decent one for about £3.

Who cares when it happened it still happened.
That carries as much weight as me saying, you can't count Spurs double victory in 1961 because Manchester United and Liverpool hadn't truly established themselves or gained the monopolies that they one day would and if they had then Spurs wouldn't of won the title.
No, because in 1961 the full league structure had already been established for many decades with more or less the same number of clubs as exist today. And Manchester United and Liverpool had been in that structure for many decades prior to 1961.
In the 19th century the number of competing clubs was tiny in comparison and the league structure existed only in it's infant form.
So what if the league expands and another 50 teams are introduced, or the European super league comes into fruition?
Will the days of the premier league become irrelevant and Manchester United's dominance of the last two decades be discounted?
-
I can see the 'NR' thing becoming a cult phenomenom before long.
-
How is a title in 1961 more relevant than a title won in 1889? They are still first division titles, all players from each season no longer play. You can only beat what is put in front of you.
-
See that again Glaston the way you structure your arguments to support Spurs, but theres one things Spurs fan can never sing to opposing fans, 'Have you ever won the European Cup'?
And they never will in our lifetime.

Who would we support in Small Heath v Spuds final? (Possible in the FA Cup this year).
Can you imagine us having a thread saying good luck Spuds etc?
I can see it now 'The All New Spuds Redknob lovesfest'.
