We have to win one of our last two and Spurs have to lose one of their last 4. That’s it. Should be so simple but Villa gonna Villa.

Don’t see another point for us, so just need Liverpool and Man City to beat Spurs. I worry if they draw one of them, Sheff Utd will gift them the goal difference to finish above us.

Season is just that little bit too long for us isn’t it.
Hopefully Spurs play their remaining matches on paper and only get 6 points.

I'm in L2 also but in Row Z. It was good around me, and thought everyone was really supportive of the players when often they wouldn't be.

Wish I could bottle the few minutes following the equaliser

The lad was a couple of rows in front of me although I was stuck in the concourse while it was all happening.
24 years old apparently!

Great atmosphere, Villa Park was really ready for the occassion. Just trying to imagine how good it could it have been had things gone better, but even so the fans stayed with the team all the way.

It might not feel like it but for anyone with a bit of long term thinking, tonight was a good night for Aston Villa Football Club.

When do we get to trade Dougie back for his evil twin?

It was more weird than terrible. Such a strange game.
That said, if they can beat us by two at our place, we can beat them by five at theirs.

Thunder and lightening due at the Villa later, might drown out the music
If it's anything like we had down here I wouldn't have the players on the pitch.

I'm willing to give up Watkins getting the golden boot for a Cole Palmer hat trick tonight.

Monumental storms down Saaaarf.
House struck, road closed and fire engines on my street.

They really are utter oddballs. Will never forget their ridiculous reaction to losing to us this season.
Not that Arsenal fans were any better though when we beat them at VP. Strange part of the world.

The Don's achievements have finally been recognised the right way.
He's been immortalised in Soccer Slammer form...

Late 80s early 90s was the golden age of children's TV and yes I'm biased/influenced by nostalgia but I'm also right.

It's tragic how much they overrate this thug

Plus, their fans actively want to lose to Man City. Hope the title race is still alive by then.

There's no debate on the Intertoto. It's not a 'major' honour as they call it.
If people are claiming that then might as well throw in the Peace Cup and the Cup of Traditions.

Most points in a 38 game Premier League season. We got 63 points last time we came 4th in 95/96.

We’re getting closer now, did you live in one of the apartments on little St. Paul’s road? We might’ve even lived in the same flat at different times! Would’ve made a good location for the best sitcom of all time by the way.
Lived in 1A, first house on the left as enter from Parsonage Road side

03/04 Cambridge Halls - Hulme
04/05 & 05/06 Ladybarn Lane
06/07 Egerton Road
07/08 St Paul's Road
08/09 Goulden Road (off Burton Road)
09/10 Didsbury Point
Then transferred out to South Korea. Bit of a journeyman until my last 11 years spent in Oxfordshire.
I do also like how uni and post uni house rentals correlate with football seasons. .
I can also confirm that I watched sitcoms in all of these locations!

We’d have taken being clear on goal difference at this point when we lost to Spurs in mid March.
