These days I can't remember my own age, let alone who was the tag team champion at the "st valentines day massacre" in 1999
Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart

I would love to know how Mania unfolded in that alternate dimension where Rock v Roman went ahead

I think it's much more likely that Taker wasn't chosen ahead of Austin. He was subbed in for him for whatever reason.

Conflicted over this mania. I really liked the ending, but without spoiling anything I would have liked to have seen one major change.
Glass breaking and a stunner, rather than a bell and a chokeslam. Wonder why they didn't get SCSA? Him v the rock is arguably the greatest modern rivalry.
I do think this was a three match mania. Other than the two main events, the only other match with a meaningful build was Drew v Seth.
Really enjoyed both nights, I just didn't care enough about the other matches.
Good to hear them moving away from the Pg era too, and back towards professional wrestling.
I reckon that was initially planned to be Austin. It just fit perfect and it was foreshadowed with him and Cena on the truck the other week.
The glass breaking may well have been the biggest pop of all time. Austin face to face with nemesis once more. First time I've ever been disappointed to see Taker

Mine would have to be the Premier League around seasons 93/94/95.
I was around 10 or 11 at this time and besides collecting the Merlin Stickers I also did a Subbuteo League and had folders and pads full of squads, stats etc...
I could still name someone the Ipswich Town or Wimbledon squads from back then.
Mental really why all that info stuck.
Definitely this. I have a better knowledge of non Villa Prem squads/lineups from that period than I do for now.

Watched the reimagining of Roadhouse last night.
it was laughably bad as expected.
Good bad or bad bad?

The “all aboard” and intro to Crazy Train are great but then it just becomes a bit meh and is not really suitable walk out music

Looking at the section yesterday, am I right in seeing what looks like rail seating/safe standing ready installed?

To the tune of Man in the Mirror:
I’m talking bout my boss Joe Kinnear,
He’s making changes to the team,
You don’t play well you’ll be out on your ear,
If you wanna make it back in the team you better get on the wing and cross balls…..in!

Going back to where it feels like it started with Macheda in 2010 (*Edit Turns out i hadn't gone back far enough for the other Macheda 3-2 game in 2009 but that wasn't a 2 goal lead anyway)
2023/24 - Utd 2-3 & Brentford 3-3
2021/22 - City 2-3, Wolves 2-3 & Leeds* 3-3 (3-1 up)
2018/19 - Preston 3-3, Leeds 2-3
Reversals - Forest 5-5, Hull 2-2 & Sheff Utd 3-32017/18 - Sheff Utd 2-2
2015/16 - Leicester 2-3
2013/14 - Liverpool 2-2
Reversal - West Brom 2-22012/13 - West Brom 2-2, Utd 2-3 & Everton* 3-3 (3-1 up)
2011/12
Reversal - QPR 2-22010/11 - Utd 2-2
14 times we have failed to win from being 2 goals up against recovering from 2 down 5 times. 6 Games Lost & 0 Won
The most startling thing about this is the amount we’ve lost from 2 goals up but then absolutely no wins from 2 goals down.
The most recent instance I can think of us winning from two goals down was Southampton away in 2005. Can anyone recall this happening more recently?

We managed to unbogey this bogey side for about a year

4th place blown. Oh well, it’s all about ambling over the line now.

The two bouts of Covid I've previously had were nowehre near as bad as the massive aids I had over Easter. Something very nasty been going round down here.

Said this one before somewhere but I own a SHA shirt.
I got (forceably) dressed as Robbie Savage on my stag do in Munich.
I tried to dispose of it by throwing it down a train carriage but as I went to step off it suddenly landed in front of my feet. I decided, meh fair enough, I'll have it as a keepsake and it now lives buried in the depths of a drawer somewhere.

Surely that’s top 5 confirmed?

Not winning the league with them should be an instant sackable offence. Bare minimum expectation for any manager with the resources at hand.
