Be a real shame if the USA found WMDs there…
I think the US (and us) provide them with their weapons

Most nervous I've been for a single fixture since the West Ham survivial game.

Silva's penalty wasn't that bad, just a cracking gamble by the keeper not to dive.
Yep, if the keeper dives that looks like a standard penalty. I sometimes wonder why keepers don’t just stand there more often. Better than diving on a whim a lot of the time.

Seems to be the logic, but Brennan Johnson, Gibbs White nowhere to be seen. Weird, stupid list!
Well there's a good reason why Brennan Johnson isn't on the list...

Torn. Want Arsenal to win to help us out but also want our/Emery’s win against them to completely unravel their season
Hold that, they've got Spurs soon.

Well, we'll be in it next year so two birds and all that.

Wow! That’s too random not for me to get unrealistic hopes up. I mean we aren’t a foreign neutral’s second team…
Nah too obvious, maybe Villa are Massssssssiiivvvveeee!
I mean, we are massive but he's got Diaby on the back so I would probably say it's just in support of his mate.
Still cool to see though and this is still the right thread for it, cos who knows?

Just another example of the establishment trying to convince (and succeeding in many cases) people that they are anti establishment.

A review...
I have now finished the first book. After a very slow start the book got more interesting and readable, I think the first half of the book was just scene setting though.
Anyway my favourite character by a long way was Tyrion, probably the only one with humour and believable. I was getting very confused with the family trees of all the characters and it did help once I got to the end of the book and found the appendix! Why was this not in the front of the book? This novel was made more difficult to follow by having several characters using their names and then occasionaly referring to their "nicknames". Define their nicknames at the beginning and use it throughout the novel would have made it easier to read.
Over description of armour and colours of clothing etc, I skipped most of this everytime.
Another couple of whinges, the printed maps do help but need a magnifying glass to read them, 2 other maps are shown and seemingly have nothing to do with the first book. After thousands of years fighting medieval style wars, why has nobody come up with advances in science like gunpowder etc?, that fact alone I have found very annoying with this novel. I mean they can all manufacture steel and fancy swords, but have stuck with bows and arrows, maces and lance's for hundreds of generations.....
I think I will read the next book though...
If you've not seen it recently watch series one again and you'll see just how close the first book and series are. Obviously the show aged a lot of characters up because...well yeah.
From series 2 onwards there are more divergences and omissions although still pretty faithful adaptions.

Bayer Leverkusen winning the Bundesliga has brought an end to one of the best bits of football trivia - Kingsley Coman can no longer claim to have won the league every year since turning professional. His record ends with a streak of 11 seasons where he won the league, including one season where he made appearances for 2 title winning teams in the same season, meaning technically he played for 12 title winning teams in 11 seasons.
That's alright, the more amusing record has stayed in tact. Harry Kane has never won a trophy since turning professional

New Tory plan to stop the boats is to also send people to Armenia, Costa Rica and Botswana.
I'm pretty sure Costa Rica is just on the list so some ministers can have a holiday over there and say it's a fact finding mission, otherwise I don't see being sent to a tropical paradise as much as a disincentive for immigrants
I'll swim the channel myself for a free trip to Costa Rica
