I'm not absolutely appalled by it, but it's very underwhelming considering that Heck was heralded to be a branding genius with what he's done previously - and essentially we've ended up with what we had before, but with a cheesy drop shadow and slightly clunky text. Seems like a very rushed job for something that, in theory, is going to be part of the club's image for many years to come.

Oh god. The drop shadow survived after all...

This isn't just based off of this game, but lately (or sinde Xmas at least) we've started letting in a pretty silly amount of goals. I know that Kamara going out probably hasn't helped matters, but we absolutely need to do something with our defence. We don't quite know what level Mings is going to be able to perform at when he's back (and I'm not sure he alone is going to suddenly fix the issue).

I get that we're on the beach after what's been a terrific season, but this is embarrassing. Fans have paid money to travel down and watch this.

Just now, Hev said:
Has Haaland actually done anything except tap a goal in that was laid on a plate for him?
I'll admit, I haven't watched City much this season (mainly because I'd rather staple my ball bag to my desk), but I've thought this every time.

Why does Pep keep pinching his foreskin?

Might've celebrated that goal a bit too much in front of the Arse fans behind me in this bar...

Citeh playing like they've just played a Conference League Semi Final

Found another Villa fan in our hotel in Majorca. Watching on a TV that seems to be 10 minutes behind. Saw a few people in Liverpool shirts in our hotel but none of them are watching the game. Go figure...

Like I said in the match thread, very disappointed to have lost 6-2 over 2 legs, especially when 4 of those goals came at home. We do not have the squad to go all the way with the injuries that we've had.
I just hope that we can get 1 more win from our last 2 games so we can at least go out with a bit of a bang this season instead of nervously hoping that Spurs don't pull something out of the bag against City.

So, so disappointing to lose 6-2 over 2 legs to these, with 4 of those goals coming at home. We just don't have the squad to go all the way when we have so many injuries. Would be nice if we can win at least one of our remaining league games so that we can go out with somewhat of a bang instead of limping over the finish line.

Good job I'm in **** Majorca at the minute

It's hilarious to me that, in their eyes, their new owners can do absolutely no wrong. They've been so deprived of any sort of adequacy on the football front for so long that they've latched onto everything that Wagner has said.
Their owners are **** morons. They made possibly the worst managerial switch in modern football history, gave themselves far too much to do and paid the price for it. They've fallen at literally the very first hurdle.
But it's okay, they got to see a nice PowerPoint.

Maybe we just wanted to save our CL qualification for when we beat Liverpool at home and have a big old party....

3 shite performances in a row. If we carry on the way we have in those 3, then I don't see us winning another game, so we'll just be relying on Spuds' results.
I can't really blame the players. We've had rotten luck with injuries and many of them have had to play way more games than we'd have ideally liked them to. They're running on fumes now.
I'd love to be proven wrong and see us pull something out of the bag.

Man, we really need to just get over the line, qualify for CL and get the season done. Bench looks so weak due to all of the injuries. I can't wait for the day we'll have a full strength team with proper options on the bench.

This is **** fantastic.
I've now been told that Villa are the jammiest club on England and Blues are the unluckiest.
Now, let's ignore how they've jacksied late survival in god knows how many of the past 10 years. Got away pretty bloody lightly on the points deduction front. Benefited from teams resting players against them which helped them stay up (looking at you, Huddersfield).
I've been trying to work out how we're apparently so jammy. We deservedly got relegated (and didn't fight it for as long as they've managed to), almost went into administration, didn't actually break any rules to go back up and are now doing very well because of good ownership and good management, nothing else. It's not like we've fluked any cup wins or anything like they did (which is 50% of everything they've ever won of note, may I add).
They're just a steaming hot pile of shite that finally ran out of luck (and they seem absolutely unwilling to admit that they've been relegated thanks to the moronic decisions of their apparent saint of an owner).

Tom Brady probably thinks they've got first pick in the draft now.

1 Norwich goal is all it takes

Don't really like laying into our players, but there's a very noticeable drop off when he plays. You can feel the nerves amongst the back line, and our build up play from the back is nowhere near as sharp. It also feels like he's always in 2 minds as to whether to come off his line for corners or through balls so he ends up in no man's land. Just doesn't have the commanding presence that you need, especially to play the way that we do.
-
Absolutely gutted with that. Conceding 4 goals at home in a European semi is absolutely unacceptable. Literally everything went wrong for us.
1- Disallowed goal at the start. Soft.
2- Penalty shout. Defender got a touch on the ball, which put the ball onto Bailey's path and gives him an advantage, then fouls him. Pen for me.
3- Penalty conceded. Was a pen tbf.
4- Deflected goal. Shit.
5- Penalty miss. Luiz had an absolute shocker of a game and had a chance to redeem himself. Literally never misses and finally does so in the biggest game in the season so far.
So much to do in the second leg. Atmosphere is going to be extremely hostile and I just don't see us winning by 3 goals. 2 goals to draw the tie and send it to pens would be a miracle.

Currently working through Season 2 of Tokyo Vice.
Really enjoyed the first season. It disappeared from BBC iPlayer for ages and looks like they've put it back on now that they've added Season 2 (latest season actually came out a while ago but wasn't showing in the UK).
