Lovely goal

Sunk a few more hours into this and got through a few more bosses. I'm actually really enjoying it. The Umbral lamp is becoming a bit more intuitive now, as I've gotten a much better grasp on when to use it (still don't like hanging around in Umbral for too long though). Been using the Hallowed Praise sword (upgraded a few times) and it seems to really suit my play style.

Got this for Xmas and managed to sink a few hours in it today.
Just got past Pieta at last, after god knows how many tries (most difficult first boss I've encountered in a game since who knows when....). Annoyingly, got her down to about 1/4 health and the game crashed, so I've already experienced some of the technical issues that so many have complained about.
It's good. I can see where it has some charm and individuality to it. There's still much about the systems/upgrades that I don't quite understand yet, but will keep plugging away.

It's the inevitably of it that really **** me off. 2-0 up against a team that, at the minute, do not score goals. We absolutely deserved that. Obviously the absences haven't helped, but to be in such a dominant position and then literally hand them the win really does leave a sour taste.

Literally everything is going wrong. I can't believe how poor this is.

**** knew it. Lenglet pissing about to give the ball away for the corner and we shit the bed. Disgraceful performance.

And there it is

Wtf is Lenglet doing there!?

There's still every chance that Onana might just blast it into his own net for no reason

Unbelievable

Garnacho has had his Weetabix this morning. Need to deal with him better.

Doesn't feel like we're winning this. Need to calm down asap.

Can't complain about being 2-0 at HT. Definitely need to tighten it up a bit in the second half, though. We're making it a bit too easy for Utd to get back into the game; giving the ball away too easily, being a bit too ambitious with our passes when we need to just get a foot on the ball and settle it down a bit.
When we're attacking we look dangerous, and I wouldn't be surprised to see us get another one or two - just need to be a bit less sloppy.

I actually can't believe just how offside they've been. A good 3 or 4 yards each time.

Prime using a picture of Aaron Ramsey. Idiots.

Like a Dragon Gaiden
It's a nice little spinoff to plug the gap between 7 & 8. It's relatively short, and as such the story is a lot more "to the point". If you like the Yakuza games but don't fancy jumping into a full one (the main titles are quite lengthy), I recommend this.

Difficulty ramps up a fair bit from the boss of Irithyll onwards - how you finding it now?
Only just seen this! I got distracted with Like A Dragon: Gaiden, so have parked DS3 for a bit. Planning to jump back in...though that would depend on what games Santa brings...

Where do B&M get their store playlists from? Especially the Xmas ones. I've never heard any of these songs in my life

**** sake Cam. You had one job.

So, do we hope that Arse beat Plop tomorrow so we stay in 2nd place for Xmas? Or do we hope for a draw so that we remain 1pt off top?

I'm sure that there will be those on social media who will say that we've benefitted from some decisions lately and that evens it out (though I do think that those that we've benefited from were the right decisions, Villa bias or not). However, that was some **** awful officiating tonight.
The non-penalty for the foul on Watkins was utterly baffling. The handball one was utter bollocks. The disallowed goal was horseshit.
There was an air of inevitability about this result though. You just knew that the home run was going to come to an end sooner or later - it's just a shame that it had to come in a game like this when we had a great chance to jump to the top of the table, even if potentially only for a night. Make no mistake, Sheffield United were poor and offered next to nothing, but we were ponderous at times. Fully in control, but not really threatening enough in the final third considering who we had out there.
All things considered though, if you'd have told me we'd be sitting 2nd or 3rd in the table at Xmas, I'd have asked for a hefty dose of whatever you were smoking. I just hope that we can put this game behind us quickly and come out all guns blazing at OT.

Who'd have guessed that our 15 game winning home run might be stopped by Sheffield United...

We're gonna struggle here. We've given Burnley something to hang onto with 10 men. They'll stick everyone behind the ball and we'll struggle to break them down.
