It's not the £30 increase to £510 i'm complaining about. It's the £170 increase to £450 that is sad. Why are concession prices being removed in certain areas of the ground?

General, I am bitterly disappointed with the clubs approach to the pricing structure of next seasons tickets. On the official site I saw lots of figures but no mention of over a 60% rise in certain tickets. A rise of £170 in one season has never happened before. The club seems to pride itself in low ticket prices but if this years prices develop into a trend we will have no such claim. Why are Aston Villa modeling its ticket prices on other teams? Surely the club has the ingenuity to make its own decision. While I am pleased with other prices in the stadium, it appears that you are attempting to turn thousands of the best views in the house to exclusive seats with concessions being the first to be priced out. If I decide to move from the Trinity Upper to the Holte due to the new price structure, will the club enable others like myself a period to select a half decent seat in another stand before tickets go on general sale? General, A few weeks a go Richard Fitzgerald gave an interview about possible partners in the future etc (i'm not quite sure on the exact subject of it). Anyway in the interview he said something about if the second runway gets built at Birmingham then we already have a international airline lined up to be partnered with. Low and behold, this morning I switch on the local news to hear that part of airport has been sold off to Australian and Canadian consurtiums who will ensure that the second runway goes ahead. Ye but the packages aren't half as good as Sky. With Sky you get everything other then sport and movies. Virgin, I think you only get around half. Internet you get 2mb with Virgin and up to 8gb with Sky. I think the phone packages are pretty similar. Another thing is I don't want then digging up the drive to get the wires in.

Depends on the size of the hard drive on the Sky + box I think. If you get the 80g one then there is no extra cost! How much is that? Thinking about getting a recordable DVD player but thinking ma mom would be better off with Sky+ as my mates seems simple enough to work.

One thing that puts me off Virgin is the price. I know if you have all of it you don't have to pay line rental to BT, but I can't see them beating the 26 quid package from Sky. O, I have a question. If you have the Sky+ box do you pay an extra tenner a month like I'm get on their website.

You can get freeview boxes with hard drives for under a £100. Do exactly the same as a sky plus box apart from just with freeview channels. I know they have them in the Argos.

General, Can I ask where and what you all do at half time. As soon as the whistle blows the rush to get back in the stand is worse then the rest of the ground. Only a few people seem to be out for the start of the second half as well. Surely there has to be more then tea and biscuits! Nick Beasley

General, Not sure whether this has been mentioned previously. Were you disappointed with the response that the "ghost riders in the sky" or what ever it's called received? No one in the stadium seemed bothered that it was playing. Absolutely no recognition with the fans that don't post on this board. I, along with so many others on Villa Talk appreciate the work and time you have put into the forums, shown by you posting on Christmas day! Are you starting to think that things like this are a waste of time? After all, polls were set up to choose the song to bring an atmosphere to the ground to replace the lac luster atmosphere created before the game. Which sadly didn't happen by a long margin!
