    Does it really matter if we pay 'too much' for a player? Would you really care if Randy Lerner spent a couple of extra million quid to get a player that MON said we really need? They're business men and if they think that they'll get value for money from those extra couple of million, they'll do it. As long as they don't pass on the extra by excessively increasing ticket prices, it's no skin off my nose.

    Watford ARE going down. Ashley Young WILL leave either in January or in the summer as a result. It's widely accepted that you get more money for decent players in January than you do in the summer. Ergo... it makes far more sense for Watford to flog him now. You can bet that the Watford chairman is thinking the same thing...

    Whatever Will's reasons are for being a Villa fan, the fact is he is a fan. It's probably quite tricky for him to get to games but he has been a number of times. More than a lot of Villa fans I know!
