  1. Remi has every chance of keeping us up. Have read pundits who know him say that he brings calmness to a squad - which is what we really need. There looks to be some serious discontent in the squad, which a stress-head like Sherwood has probably amplified ten fold - KM has not helped either.

  2. To get relegated we need to maintain relegation form from now until the end of the season. Simply lift it a notch and we will be safe. We aren't playing our best 11 and being found out, we actually have a lot more to give. I do not believe that Garde will do any worse or even equal to Sherwood given the resources he will have at his disposal.

  3. Has to be gone now. Worst thing is he hasn't even tried to impress the new boss - speaks volumes about his comfort zone. I think he is too thick to realiise and when it is all taken away from him it probably won't even click then.

  4. It's all about Remi now. We may have the least points but we are just as bad as Sunderland and Newcastle, and Bournemouth. What we need is a cool head and I think we will get that from Garde, who plays our best 11. For whatever reason, Sherwood and now KM have gone out of their way to sabotage the team this season - it can't just be inept, I think they have had an agenda. We just need improvement and we will be fine - I think this is do-able.

  5. I think we will see a very defensive line up from Garde, to begin with. I think he will be cautious and aim to make us hard to beat. Which could be a bit dull but boy do we need some stability.

  6. Sam would have made a lot of sense a few weeks ago, but I read a good article lately which said we needed to appoint a manager for the team we want to be rather than the team that we are - so Garde is worth the risk IMHO.

  7. We haven't got much to lose, we either have a squad capable of prem footy or we don't - Remi gets us playing then it's down to Randy in Jan. Be nice if we can also play with a little va-va-voom...

  8. Our CEO and Sporting Director are ex-Arsenal, players we've just recruited were at some point on Arsenal's list, and now we are targeting a manager touted as the natural successor to Wenger. I'd be quite happy with us being the aston gooners...

  9. It does feel like amongst the hierarchy that the man they consider their 'football' man is Almstadt - it was highlighted that he and Sherwood were not speaking and soon after Tim goes - it just felt like they were waiting for the grounds on which to dismiss Tim.

  10. We will get a foreign coach I am convinced - I think Almstadt is calling the shots - or at least suggesting the type of manager that will suit the player recruitment of this summer.

  11. A cup run helped us stay up last season so this match is important. Completely blank canvas for KM, there is no particular style or formation to stick to, I think he will go old school also - and that might just flippin work.
