To get relegated we need to maintain relegation form from now until the end of the season. Simply lift it a notch and we will be safe. We aren't playing our best 11 and being found out, we actually have a lot more to give. I do not believe that Garde will do any worse or even equal to Sherwood given the resources he will have at his disposal.

Has to be gone now. Worst thing is he hasn't even tried to impress the new boss - speaks volumes about his comfort zone. I think he is too thick to realiise and when it is all taken away from him it probably won't even click then.

It's all about Remi now. We may have the least points but we are just as bad as Sunderland and Newcastle, and Bournemouth. What we need is a cool head and I think we will get that from Garde, who plays our best 11. For whatever reason, Sherwood and now KM have gone out of their way to sabotage the team this season - it can't just be inept, I think they have had an agenda. We just need improvement and we will be fine - I think this is do-able.

Sherwood's team selection - confused. KM's team selection - fearful. Neither could see who the best players for them are - so over to Remi to put out a first 11 who will all contribute. Gabby can walk away and keep walking till he gets to the sea, then keep walking into the sea.
-
Tom Fox just clocked the camera was on him and he did a little theatrical head shake and blowing out of cheeks - like he was a robot trying to play human.
-
All of this is making Garde's job quite simple - he now knows who should not play, ever again.
-
Gabby been on the ball much?

Can't believe how many words Randy has used to communicate with us. Sherwood must really have narked him off.

I'm confident we now have the right squad for this sort of manager - it's a good fit. Welcome Remmey!
-
With Remmey in the stands the players will try hard and we'll come away with a 1-1.
-
Any good players we could now loan from Arsenal in Jan given our new special relationship? Maybe we could get Crowley back and give him a good booing every game.

Gambling's only fun when you stand to lose everything.

Houlier on Remi - "His philosophy will be attack-minded, he likes to build from the back."
Are we looking at Villa doing a Swansea/Arsenal? That would be good,
-
I think we will see a very defensive line up from Garde, to begin with. I think he will be cautious and aim to make us hard to beat. Which could be a bit dull but boy do we need some stability.

True story, I once farted on Sam Allardyce.
Well I hugged Selena Gomez once.
Can you describe for us all how that felt? In detail?
-
Sam would have made a lot of sense a few weeks ago, but I read a good article lately which said we needed to appoint a manager for the team we want to be rather than the team that we are - so Garde is worth the risk IMHO.
-
We haven't got much to lose, we either have a squad capable of prem footy or we don't - Remi gets us playing then it's down to Randy in Jan. Be nice if we can also play with a little va-va-voom...
-
We are not getting battered and are in no way a worse team than anything under Lambert. But god do we need a leader. At this point, any experienced manager will do.
-
Our CEO and Sporting Director are ex-Arsenal, players we've just recruited were at some point on Arsenal's list, and now we are targeting a manager touted as the natural successor to Wenger. I'd be quite happy with us being the aston gooners...
-
It does feel like amongst the hierarchy that the man they consider their 'football' man is Almstadt - it was highlighted that he and Sherwood were not speaking and soon after Tim goes - it just felt like they were waiting for the grounds on which to dismiss Tim.
-
We will get a foreign coach I am convinced - I think Almstadt is calling the shots - or at least suggesting the type of manager that will suit the player recruitment of this summer.
-
A cup run helped us stay up last season so this match is important. Completely blank canvas for KM, there is no particular style or formation to stick to, I think he will go old school also - and that might just flippin work.

If we get Justin Edbinurgh(sp?) can we still have Marcel Desailly as his assistant?
Surely it should be Jason Scotland...
-
Just wikipedia'd Justin Edinburgh and I still do not understand who he is.

Remi has every chance of keeping us up. Have read pundits who know him say that he brings calmness to a squad - which is what we really need. There looks to be some serious discontent in the squad, which a stress-head like Sherwood has probably amplified ten fold - KM has not helped either.
