If we get Justin Edbinurgh(sp?) can we still have Marcel Desailly as his assistant?
Surely it should be Jason Scotland...
-
Just wikipedia'd Justin Edinburgh and I still do not understand who he is.
-
I can see Newcastle down, or at least desperate and changing their manager some time soon. Because, they are managed, by Schteve Mclaren.
-
I'm fed up of British managers - all they want to do is preserve the system they've always known. We have suffered for years now from MON having full control, while this summer's signings have been exciting. If Garde can implement a system that suits the squad, I am sure we will see the best of these new players.

Another online bookies just suspended betting on garde, 888sport
-
Cmon, it's gonna be garde - no compo, ligue 1 experience to match our new players, arsenal connections, current employer saying he is in advanced talks, trent saying it will be him, bookies saying he is clear favourite. Just want it done fast so we can get cracking and to stop stooppid media stories about dwight and gus etc.
I just really don't see us sacking someone with only half a season PL experience, to replace him with someone with none. Theres just to many millions at stake. Randy will want the best bloke to get us 17th and secure his TV money.
For schizzle, but we know Randy likes the chaos option when it comes to managers.
-
Betfred saying betting now suspended too. Imminent announcement?

If the football is sexy I'll be getting a gard-on.

Never has it been so obvious that a manager has gone before an announcement.
-
This talk of amavi being benched again is a bit annoying. Richardson was ok last game but we gotta play amavi.
-
John Percy is usually authentic so his article looks to be the real deal. With almstadt and tim not speaking it looks like were now just waiting for the grounds to dismiss tim. Surely a loss today will be curtains. Oh please please pleeeease.
-
We need to win 1 in 3 and pick up some draws. Lambert managed that. Sherwood will be sacked before it gets desperate. Way too much money riding on this season. Plus we have jan window for a new manager.
-
Players let him down today. But it matters not a jot. Another milestone in the story of Sherwood's sacking.
-
If Lambert couldn't do it, nobody will. We will not be relegated.
-
All out attack. Possibly a goal after they've scored 4. Realisation by all parties that however Tim sets up the team it loses. Sherwood sacked.
Nigel Pearson appointed.
-
Can't remember so much media insight into a villa manager's thoughts. If he can do it today and we beat Chelsea (mwhahahahaaaaaa-haahaha-ha-haaa..) then that could be a turning point for him. Will be interesting to see how the players perform. Have a feeling they won't try so hard...
-
Chelsea will hammer us tomorrow. We will go for it and it will be a 6-1 sorta result. I think that would tip the scales. Moyes would be such an excellent manager for us, perfect fit for each other at this stage.
-
Well hes probably going to go crazy attacking against chelski and swansea in a bid to win. Win both abd everything changes. Can see us coming close and sherwood whining as the axe falls.
Moyes please.
-
Can only hope the reason he hasn't gone yet is that we are sourcing a replacement. Don't think it was any coincidence we saw Tim at Villa Park when Lambert was still in the job. Since we can't have Sam, let's have someone French.

Well if this is all true, and it does whiff of truth, it means Fox will push the button sooner rather than later. I am glad that the club are finally choosing the players and not the egotistical manager. Could be we see someone a bit continental coming in to replace him.
-
Tim labelled last season's squad as losers, but now his new squad is losing too - it is not a gypsy curse on villa park, it is a succession of managers who are either not good enough or lacked experience at this level. Big Sam apparently is in Sunderland's sights, right now he is the one eyed man in the kingdom of the blind and we need his dull brand of football, badly.
-
It's a poor start but its 4 points to midtable so no need to panic right now, lots and lots of time left. Squad is arguably better than a few teams BUT - Tim is not the man to sort this out.
-
He does seem to be flapping and appears to have lost any playing identity he began with. Yesterday's commentator was more tactically astute and picked out all the dangerous areas for us as we played - something Tim could not see. This is different to Lambert, it's Tim's squad. I hate to say this, but we really must admit that we need to consolidate and go for Big Sam - we are desperate for a steady hand at the wheel - Sam has oodles of experience and we need that until Randy can get us sold and we can look again at something more adventurous.

A cup run helped us stay up last season so this match is important. Completely blank canvas for KM, there is no particular style or formation to stick to, I think he will go old school also - and that might just flippin work.
