  1. Yes on his Instagram it seems PC was in Brazil for a few days but back now. Little Emi is in Dubai according to his - or maybe back now? I wonder how they get on taking their kids out of school in term time?

Holy shit 10 weeks? Damn, hope he comes back stronger. We'll need him. The fixtures after the WC will be crazy.

Exactly. Let's see how he does when he comes back - free from the burden of being Stevie's pet . Apparently the Brazil coach said he would have been in squad but for injury so i feel a bit sorry for him. Let's see what Unai can do with him before writing him off and constantly slagging him off. He wasn't to know how crap things would be under Gerrard after all. I think he likes it here with his Amigos. Let's hope he has a new spark for us when back.

Do you not consider that PC might be glad to be free of the burden of beong tarred as "Stevie's mate" "Stevie's love child" etc. 🙄

The World Cup period offers a unique &  excellent opportunity for Unai to drum in his methodology. How many of our players will be at the tournament? Just Martinez, Digne & Cash? Unlikely to be selected: Mings, Watkins, Buendia, Coutinho, Luiz...

Do the others have to stay and train the whole time or is any of it a holiday period like in normal World  cups?

I see him prob twice a week picking my kids up from school.

There’s no sense of entitlement, no Billy big bollocks attitude, and is a general nice guy. He smiles and says hello whenever someone else does.  There’s no bling, he comes in an ordinary family car.

I’m 100% sure that any short comings are not through bad attitude or lack of wanting to succeed.  I’m sure that he wants to succeed here as much as we want him to.

Sometimes things just don’t work the way you want them to.

One thing for sure though, getting on his back will only see a deterioration in form.  Which will only make matters worse for everyone.

All this about him not acknowledging the fans on Sunday - he usually does go more or less straight in  - i think he may be quite shy and he gave little Emi such a congratulatory hug when he came on in his place. Who knows the perception of being Stevie Gs pet may have been a burden for him. Give him a clean slate now.

  6. Please can we give up with the Coutinho bashing now. He might maybe feel a bit relieved of the burden of being the so called Manager's pet. Give him a clean slate too. As for the after match thing - i've rarely seen him come to the crowd , he usually goes more or less straight in. Did you not see the huge hug he gave to Emi Buendia as he came off?  He and his family are often seen on Social Media with the two Emis and Dougie and their families. Maybe he is more close to them than he ever was to Steven Gerrard. They must have had lots of talks about it surely?

  7. Since when did Buendia become the Saviour and Coutinho the Devil Incarnate? They are not enemies. They appear to be good mates and socialise a lot . Why does it have to be like this on VT. Surely they shoud both be starting?

  8. The Sty. I think it was a cup game maybe - some years ago now. We won. Going out of ground their fans were breaking off bits of metal and chucking it down on us - a great big bit narrowly missed me. Then we were penned in the car park whilst their fans were lobbing bottles over. Horrible. Never been since

Also i think it may have been first gane back in Championship Sheff Wed away. The crush in the foyer areas was awful. I was genuinely fearful

Dont really go to away games any more.
