The retirement age is 68 for blokes now I am amazed the club have kept it at 65!
Probably be 70 by the time I retire.
It's 66 for concessions

A bit of discussion around this in the Spurs thread.
In terms of Villa and to start the debate... why should pensioners get any concession?
Why should a 65 year old get much cheaper tickets than say a 60 year old or a 22 year old? A lot of pensioners are well-off and some are poor, similar to the rest of the adult population. Actually there are probably more pensioners with a higher disposable income than someone in their 20's.
Isn't charging all adults (excluding students) the same price the fairest way?
Hmm i have had a Season Ticket for many years now and this coming season is the first time i will qualify for OAP discount. The discount isn't that much and, having spent so much on STs over many years during dark times too, i am looking forward to the concession. Oh and don't generalise that all OAPs are well off.

You don't need to wonder really, it's been leaked by internal members of staff at Villa to show that our CEO and his cronies are destroying the club.
Bring back Purslow, all is forgiven.
Purslow did a lot of good here i think Unfortunately a lot of fans never forgave him for hiring his supposed "mate" Stevie G. Would he come back though?

Agree that roads around ground should be closed for 30 mins after game if possible. When i went to Everton some years ago for example, the cars weren't allowed out of the car park opposite for 30 mins after game so that pedestrians could clear away from the ground first. Manor Road - walking back to Brookvale Road is always horrendous. Traffic getting away along Brookvale Road is also horrific - right up to the lights by The Ridgeway. So hard to get out of the car parks and there are so many roads with cars waiting to turn out. Maybe Police could direct traffic along Brookvale Road too ? A difficult one to solve i think

Looks like away to us is Klopp's last away game and their last home game is against Wolves . I just read that a ticket right behind the dug out for his final home game is on sale for 25k!!

These are bare minimum things to get right, before the sophisticated things are looked at.
Get the basics right first.
Is she talking about DE Upper? That's right. They are dreadful. The one large one in particular has had some sort of ugly brown grit (yes GRIT ) down it for at least 3 seasons and there are only 5 loos for the whole stand. If i need to go i have to go during game to avoid horrendous queues at half time. One pre season i sat in DE lower and the loos there were like a palace compared to those in DE Upper - and so many more of them too.

We have all wondered where Hercules is - bring him back and Chip too

And to think our fans were singing that extremely arrogant song (which i hate) "you've seen the Villa now ****off home"

They haven't scored for so long, striker not yet scored for man u, villa have not lost a game all season that they have taken the lead in. Well all gone now. So cross with this.
-
And he gets his first goal for Man U - you couldn't make it up could you

Newcastle right on our tail now though

At least we dont have to listen to too much post match and Sky can return to their beloved Liverpool (even though they were bigging us up before)
-
Hopefully they will put this right on Thursday . As i said earlier this always seems to happen when we get bigged up by the media unfortunately

Media saying we were "thrashed" by Spurs. I am sure if it were the other way round it would be "Villa thrash TEN MAN Spurs". We were losing, yes, but the so called "thrashing" came after the sending off
