    Bullshit

Nobody hates Coutinho, people dont rate him its a big difference. He is sadly over the hill

Ok so why do so many have to add in the sarcastic comnents about his "Mate" then? I never said anyone hated PC just that some can't get past his supposed friendship with the hated Gerrard.

Can't believe the negativity. Fair enough, he's been injured and not quite had the Unai upgrade yet. Look at what Don Unai has done to Mcginn, Watkins, Luiz etc. It's easy to forget how absolutely awful they / we were under Gerrard.

Just imagine if Unai could get Coutinho anywhere near his best.

The negativity and near hatred from some is because of his supposed "friendship" with the much hated Gerrard which, unfortunately,  some just can't get past where PC is concerned .

Honestly think some are being a bit hard on Coutinho, he's been unlucky with injuries this season, and no one played well under Gerrard. I'd still like to see what he can do under a proper coach / manager - he was class in his day maybe Emery can get him back to those levels? If he did we'd have a hell of a player, and he's surely still got some decent years ahead if he looks after himself?

Utlimately, whatever Emery decides goes and I'll back it 100% if he wants to move him on, but wouldn't be so quick to write him off personally!

But but he was Stevie's mate supposedly. That's what some can't get past. Has anyone seen any evidence of him socialising with  SG?   I just see him and his family socialising with the other South Americans and their families  and now lately Moreno too has joined the little clan. Also how does anyone know that he is on massive wages (well yes compared to us obv).

Got back from the ground and then talked to my bro who watched it on tv at his place and I asked him about how the atmosphere came through on tv and he said he didn’t really hear it.  Definitely the bloody tv mics then because it was brilliant in the ground.

They need to move the tv box back up to by the Holte End where it used to be - not by the away fans like now.

  5. I think the tv studio definitely needs to be moved back to the Holte End corner or at least the opposite side of the North stand - but absolutely NOT by the away support. Could this not be suggested at the next supporters group meeting? I got back today and watched bits of the game which i had recorded . Saw Keown in the tv box celebrating like mad with the Arsenal fans. It makes the away support seem louder than it is also.

We hit the crossbar at 2-2 and it comes back out.

They hit it and it comes of the back of Martinez, it's unlucky.

That was the difference between winning and losing.

Give the lads a break they're top of the league and that was very competitive.

We are always so unlucky. If it wasn't for bad luck we would have no luck at all - but i am so fed up of it!

I really don’t fully understand the malice towards Phil, some seem to really relish  proclaiming him worthless, a joke, selfish etc, it’s weird to me,  especially coming from supporters of the club.

“I don’t rate him but I hope he does well for the team” is a popular line on this forum, it appears in Phil’s case they would be truly disappointed if his

Partly because of the Stevie Gs mate thing

Shockingly bad defensive display, and despite good build up play, we lack any end product, and struggle to score goals.

What is inside this club that means we gift struggling teams victories?

It's been this way for years now. Just dont get it. Always against teams on bad run and always when media start to talk about us in good terms

I don’t think that’s true man, although I was in the lower north so more subjected to it.

Isn't it the case that the tv studio is now up by the Witton/North stand corner so always hear away support on tv. It should be moved back to Witton/Holte corner where it used to be.

Everton are lucky they havent been cut adrift. They’ve been dogsquirt all season really; Lost to all their rivals in recent weeks (Bournemouth, Wolves, Soton & West Ham) yet are only 1 win away from safety. It just shows how awful you have to be to actually go down.

Ive seen many people compare them to our doomed season, but we were rock bottom and well adrift pretty much the whole season with no chance, we’d accepted our fate months before it was official. They at least have a fighting chance to avoid it now, but I really hope they dont seize it; its their time now.

Remember our song "we fancied a change, we fancied a change, just for ONE season , we fancied a change. "

He's stepped up since he split up with Alisha and ditched the utter cringe ThickTok videos.

Looking at Instagram it looks like they night be back together. Seems it was her birthday and all the gang were there and he was stood by her cutting cake - unless they've stayed mates

  12. I used to be in the away scheme years ago. I dont think they do that now though. I havent been to an away game for a while now - probably not since Championship but it is virtually impossible to get ticket now anyway

So, On that basis after 3 years in the top flight, we rely on one player, to organise us.

If thats so, I think we are goosed.

I suspect, there is a malaise/under current at BMH and Unai, is just realising, what the other 2 had to deal with.

The thing about us just being too soft/nice has been around for years. I remember going back to John Gregory's time as Manager he said we were just too nice to the other teams. We need a nasty piece of work who wears heart on sleeve maybe?

  14. Is there any substance whatsoever to the rumours. Ive not seen anything suggesting he wants to leave - he looked happy enough at the childrens hospital earlier. Is this just lazy assumptions that because his so called mate Gerrard has gone that he's not interested any more?

  15. Unfortunately for PC some people's hatred of Steven Gerrard is so all consuming that they can't stop tarring him as "Stevie's mate" . He should be given  chance under UE as with all the others. I've not seen any evidence of PC socialising with SG - he always seems to be with the other South American lads  . PC might be relieved to be free of the "manager's mate" tag. Let's wait and see before writing him off.
