Read and Flintoff wouldn't have had a 177 run sixth wkt partnership He wouldn't have stuck around with Flintoff enabling him to get his century Stupid shot... but Jones should stay On the other side of the coin Read is better with the gloves and we could have perhaps been chasing a score of less than 100. I don't think we'd have had a first innings lead if Read was playing instead of Jones... Number 7 needs to be a batsman nowadays... 6 batsmen aren't enough I personally think Read would have a better average over the course of the series than what Jones has right now. His mistakes cost us so much.

VT is freely advertised on the OS forums, surely we can work alongside each other - we don't have to be like VT and H&V.

The person you talk about is no longer a moderator. The main problems with the OS forum are also that it is out of date - I'm not having a go at Villa or anything but its taken a long time to get people to sit up and take notice, a lot of the time PTV were saying one thing but doing another as well - but luckily it looks like things now are going our way. The OS forum could be a smashing place, the only thing that bothers me is that the trust of a lot of the intelligent members (Ed/Papa/yourself...etc) may have been lost. All I can say is when the new forum does arrive the members such as yourself/chris etc will be needed for your views as to what you want from the place, what you think could be done and what it would take for you to enjoy the whole OS experience. I'll stop now, I sound like an old man *slaps self*

totally disagree, considering there are only three mods now and we all get along pretty well with the other members I think that no longer exists. I also think we as mods listen a lot more now, perhaps in the past we didn't listen as much as we should have.

Clique theories suck, I've been a mod on a number of sites and thats been thrown up a lot even if on one site two were from America and one from the UK (me) doh!

hhhmmmm, I can't choose any of those because I am in between 'great' and 'good. I think he is a decent signing, will score goals, will help Luke improve and of course will give the other strikers a kick up the bum! for £1m, for experience and for the goals he will get how can it be wrong? If any other team had signed him they would be thinking it was a bargain!

I think he would be great back-up especially as our squad is tiny this season I feel we need to add at least 8 players come the summer (7 new and one to replace Hitz) only then will I be thinking we can achieve something. (I also feel some players might go.....) I cannot allow myself to get carried away though, its all a dream still - don't want to be let down.
