  1. GK: Given-Guzan-Marshall

    DF: Dunne-Clark-Lowton-Lichaj-Warnock-Baker-Hutton-Vlaar

    MF: Herd-Ireland-KEA-Albrighton-Bannan-Gardner-Holman

    FD: Bent-Gabby-Weiman-Fonz-N'Zogbia

I think going of the pre-season games that PL sees N'Zogbia as more of a striker, considering we have been playing very narrow in midfield.

What i want/expect is a LB and a midfield enforcer to sit behind Bannan, KEA and Ireland.

So we can line up against West Ham:

    Given

    Lichaj Vlaar Clark New LB/Warnock

    New DM/Herd

    Bannan KEA

    Ireland

    Bent N'Zogbia

  2. Cully and Karsa's jobs remain EXACTLY THE SAME as they were before Lambert left, no contracts have been changed whatsoever.

    Source: David McNally ncfc.

**** me mate you are the definition of naive

Why? did I say they would stay? no, I've said all along they'll go.

I was only givng you Villa fans the facts.

    Apologise? no, thought not!

Forgive me if I am wrong. But by all accounts the pair of them dealt with all the day to day dealings of the team, with Lambert in a sort of overseers role.

So if there jobs are exactly the same what exactly are Houghton and his 3 backroom staff going to do?

  3. By the way, are we the biggest rip off merchants when it comes to bringing out new kits? 2012/13 will be the sixteenth season in a row where we have changed our home kit. The last time we kept a home shirt for two seasons was the AST Computers/Reebok kit we had in 95/96 and 96/97.

The away kit situation is actually worse. 2012/13 will be the eighteenth consecutive season we have unveiled a new shirt. There have been some token efforts where the club have kept an away shirt as a "third kit" for an additional season, but they have always had a new shirt to sell too. The last away kit we kept for more than one season was the infamous green black and red striped kit of 93/94 and 94/95.

Certain other clubs get slaughtered if they dont keep a shirt for two years. We have had two new shirts every year since Kurt Cobain died.

Not condoning it, but does not every club do this now.

  4. I wish him all the best in the future. Can see a good career in the lower leagues of management if that's the route he takes.

I assume Sean Verity will get the reserve job then, he took on a lot of KMac's responsibility's for them last year.

Gotta love that - Lambert get on it sons ;)

    EDIT:

Something I've just read off a fan site

"The club are currnetly committed to "sprucing up" the North Stand only. Filling in the wings would involve the loss of both the main Video Screen and the Corner Flag restaurant facility"

Something also just clicked - the main video screen is no longer in that corner, it has been removed - could plans be reaching conclusions?

Sure i read somewhere it will be back next season.

  6. Just can't get my head around the full time staff numbers

because you're not supposed to, you have literally no idea of the ins and outs of it so why speculate?

this is such a pointless thread, far too many wannabe accountants

    Or ACTUAL accountants...

Yes, but not any decent ones.

    :winkold:

  7. Thought it was a waste of time bringing him one with a few minutes left today but the lad proved me wrong. He did what Petrov couldn't and tested the keeper from outside the box.

Him and Herd could be in a year or two quite a pairing in the middle.

  8. Movement was good today very Bent like in and around the box. I think where he did better than Bent today was he hunger to still get on the ball after his first effort was saved Bent usually throws his hands up, and would probably not of scored that.
Bent doesn't normally do that, not that I've seen anyway.

He does watch the next time he plays if he misses a chance hell just stand there feeling sorry for himself for a bit.

  9. Been saying for a while his been getting better and today he played really well only thing i would moan at though is crossing but everyone in the team has the same problem at the minute.

  11. **** off you ginger word removed!!!

And **** off Lerner for hiring him.

    Words fail me

    Why?

Look how close we came to breaking two shocking club records.

    Look at our results

Look at the drop in attendances.

No idea why you continue to love him and nothing about today changes what's happened before and nothing about to day makes me think we will be anything but a bottom half of the table club under him.

After a shocking season he's got the nerve to be a word removed after a last minute win. His word removed like personality will stop the fans getting behind him along with his shit style of football and crap results. No doubt Lerner will give him a pay rise though like he did for getting his last team relegated for the 2nd time in 3 years.

The amount he stick he got for making the N'Zogbia change in particular i think his entitled to feel a little smug that the three players he bought on contributed in the goal.

Even if at the time i thought taking Zog off was the wrong choice.

  12. 2. at 1-0 down with only a few minutes to go why, why, why did McLeish bring on a centre half to replace Richard Dunne? We had to attack, we had nothing to lose so he should have brought on an attacking player yet the fool went like for like and stuck with a 4 man defence!!

I think he wanted the extra height in there to do what Dunne was doing in attacking crosses in the box.

You are taking the piss right?

Extra height, if that's the case why the hell did he play Baker at centre half. He might as well have stuck him up front. We didn't need 4 defenders when we were 1-0 down with injury time to play.

Don't make lame excuses for him. He is quite capable of doing that himself.

I managed football teams for 13 years and I would not have done what he did. It was absolutely ridiculous.

Did not say i agreed with it. You asked why he did it and that was the only conclusion i can think of.
