Most likely did worse than a fulham and now until the next club goes and spend a fortune and fails, we are the ones who are the laughing stock on football, sad it is , bloody sad.

We did a Villa. Whatever we did this season was going to be a Villa. We succeed or fail on our own terms. It's got nothing to do with Fulham and it never did. It's **** lazy.

It wasn't the bit about F1 that was made up, It was the bit about others being forced to that was complete and utter bollocks.

I see you have a reaction on this and I note it with interest.

As we discussed on that twitter, I'm in favour of it, but there needs to be the equivalent of "umpires call" from cricket for these minute offsides. Unless it's absolutely conclusive one way or the other on a really tight offside, then just let the decision of the Lino stand as flagged (or not).

The rest of it the system is fine, it's the operating of it - the handball at Arsenal, for example. Clear, deliberate handball by all the laws, yet VAR wouldn't intervene to overrule the ref. That's just wrong.

As you know I'm totally agin, but I thought it earned its right to intrude at the World Cup. The difference between that and the PL deployment is staggering.

In other words I agree it can and should be implemented much better, even if I'm not a fan of having VAR in the first place.

Palm Reader?  Utterly pointless factoid for you, but I currently have Andy's old Strymon Big Sky sat on my pedalboard.

Well that really lived up to its billing!

Top man, Andy. Not sure he'll be happy you stole his equipment though.

Absolutely, shame the January dates they mentioned are supporting Insomnium rather than headlining/Curse These Metal Hand show!

I was hoping for them that it would be bottom of the bill for Slipknot. Never mind.

Was at the Flapper last night for a sold out show for Conjurer. You forget how small a venue it is, but was bloody brilliant, finishing off with a cover of Mastodon's "Blood and Thunder". That is released as a split EP with a cover of Slipknot's "Vermillion"  as well (definite recommendation for the metal heads). Really good to see a new band make an impact and are clearly ready for the next stage!

Oh, and @GarethRDR, they had this t-shirt on sale at the gig: -

Which may or may not have been bought...

Excellent show. I've never seen them not be good but they just keep getting better.

The Slipknot cover is fantastic too, and that split is with my favourite band. Good time to be a Conjurer fan.
