We can't sign 17 year olds from overseas. That's part of the new post-Brexit visa rules. We also won't be able to sign him when he turns 18 either, unless he leaves his Swedish club and joins a league that gets more visa points.

I don't know for sure (and I haven't read up yet so it might not make a difference anyway) but he might have a British passport. He was born here.

Mings is quick, it's a strength for him.

I thought Zaha's win over Mings was psychological. Concerning, maybe, but not about pace in the least. Just got in his head.

So it was as crap as I anticipated?  It's got great reviews and I wanted it to be good.  It just came across as a mess from the outset.

I do think it gets better as it develops but I found the first few hard going because of certain annoying characters.

Overall it was just the kind of stories that every other show of its kind has told for decades, without much new to bring to the table. Chuck in a pretty uncompelling protagonist and my opinion is that it's just not very accomplished.

But then I watched the lot so I suppose it ticks a box somewhere.

Yup, I'm fairly certain we would have been relegated were it not for the Covid break, we had nothing going for us. And Leeds and Bielsa has a habit of running out of steam.

Careful, they might do a half-arsed "hilarious" tweet about you and then pretend it isn't their fault when the toxic fans they definitely didn't know are their Twitter audience abuse you.

    Racists win don't they?

    They booed, the gesture changed.

Now now. They're not racists because it's technically possible they're all political philosophy graduates.

  6. Anyone know if the Championship kneeling is still for BLM specifically?

The Premier League watered down the message precisely in order to uncouple the supposedly controversial aspects of the body (as opposed to the movement) from the purpose of the knee.

Is it even related to BLM anymore?

Not that football fans booing it have a nuanced view on it all. They're just racists.

As for the thread on Grealish on a Leeds forum which reached 7 pages in 12 hours, I genuinely don't know what to say. Its what you'd expect from Blues fans albeit they wouldn't have the fan numbers to reach 7 pages in 12 hours. I take it as a show of how good Grealish really is and how easily he rattles the fans of other teams.

    They basically are Blues fans.

  8. I'm not a fan of the referral idea because it has such potential to be the same as it is now, with the manager just sticking his hand up to trigger any old review for no specific reason. If we went this way, I'd want very specific reasoning for a referral, and only that can be reviewed.

Or just scrap it because it's so obviously shit.
