The OH insists that it's not. Or at least it isn't on Aldi's side.

It is very strange, considering Aldi have been ripping off M&S (and everyone else) for years. And also because every other supermarket has a caterpillar cake too.

My suspicion is it is either some weird marketing stunt from the M&S side

or, more likely imo, they're trying to "raise awareness" or make a point in general about budget supermarkets ripping off bigger brands. Aldi are the king of that strategy so maybe they're trying to get some sort of momentum going to stop them doing it.

But as @bickster said, they haven't got a leg to stand on. Aldi are good at this because they have a good legal team that checks everything to make sure it's legal. I'm sure M&S would know this so I find the entire thing very strange.

If it wasn't for the OH's insistence, I'd conclude the same as you, that it was all a big stunt.

McCann have been tossing themselves off over it regardless.

Admittedly I haven't read the article here, just going on the headline, but derailing this isn't the play. They'll be back with more demands about more money and more control and no sporting risk. They've crossed a new line now. They've got to go. For good. **** the consequences - they're coming to the rest of us either way.

Yep. It’s only fair if it comes after all the adult population has had the chance the have both doses.

    Otherwise, get to ****.

What, even after all those lovely generous vulnerable people put their lives on hold for two years to protect the primarily healthy young people?

Surely we can't ask them to wait until we're free as well, after all they've done for us.

    It's bullshit.

Stick your vaccine passports up your **** arses, you words removed.

I’m probably going to receive a lot of legitimate examples disproving this, but anyway...why is it seemingly more “acceptable” for a musician to have a stab at acting and have reasonable success, but an actor having a go at being a musician is more often ridiculed than it is acclaimed?

Justin Timberlake or Lady Gaga can attempt careers in Hollywood and it’s fine, but Scarlett Johansson’s singing career is a non starter.

I know there are exceptions to this, but it seems to me it’s far easier to make the transition from music to acting than the other way round. Is it because musicians are held to a different standard, or there’s a question of sincerity maybe?

It's as if you've never even heard of Robson & Jerome.

what a prick, I saw this at time and surprised nobody mentioned it. I think this is systematic diving coached by the manager

It absolutely is. No idea why he's let off the hook. It's his team, just like it's Deano who's made us a bit snide.

Was about to post the same thing. I'm still mad about that goal and the abysmal bit of refereeing.

Halsey v Arsenal, Friend v Palace, Axcel v West Ham and Elleray multiple times, including v Sunderland and v Newcastle. Black book of refereeing shame. Oh and some whopper whose names escapes me, momentarily v Boro away - Paul someone - Alcott? - maybe that bloke DiCanio pushed over? Shockingly biased.

Can't immediately recall the Boro incident but I think Paul Alcock was Di Canio's mate.

For what it’s worth I’m glad that that quick free kick goal doesn’t stand. I hate those goals and it feels like a really cheat way to score a goal.

Obviously the officiating around it was abysmal but the people calling for that to be given as a goal should really look at the issues it creates if refs allow a team to score a free kick while the keeper is in the act of setting his  wall.

This is my view. All these years later it's still frustrating that the idea was created to our cost because Mark Halsey wanted to tickle Thierry Henry's pommes de terre.

At least Lee Mason didn't shield the ball for Dunk and actually did blow his whistle, mind.

Had to switch wings because he couldn't get anything out of elmo.

About time we learned to trust Elmo a bit more. It's years since he won us over and he's turned out to be quite the signing, considering. Cash is an upgrade but we haven't had to drop a park player in his place by any means.
