  1. There's loads left for Silva IMO. Munoz and Lombard are options as mentioned but I'd say the person with the best chance of beating him is Chris Weidman. Cleaning out a division in an odd concept that hasn't really been possible between 145 and 205 for about 5 years. New talent is arriving faster than you can dust it off. GSP walks at 195+ too now apparently.

The McKenzie fight was terrible match making, horrible call from Joe Silva. I don't know what he was thinking.

  2. I don't think anyone wants to see them go out of business altogether

    I do.

    And Celtic.

    Eh, Scotland hater much?

As a wild stab in the dark, I'd guess it was more the pathetic sectarian violence that both clubs' supporters are synonymous with rather than just their Scottishness.

  3. Does on of your 2 golds at Aspen stand out over the others BL ? Or we're you just awesome both times :-)

Hmm yeah as it's the biggest thing to win in the sport. Though i did lame up after the first win, crying like a sad loser haha

What?! I've missed something here. Need more details please!

She's on Wikipedia, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQTw9qJ2FxA. She is rather good. :P

Rob will have an accident at the end when she hugs the other girl

Hah, how bizarre. I won a pack of bacon and a crate of budweiser off a Canadian at uni when baselayers won in 2009. Not the best day of my life but a decent one nonetheless.

  4. The main reason his ppvs have so many buys are because there's a ton of people that just want to see him get knocked out.

...and he keeps winning. If he didn't have his 'Oh' a lot of people wouldn't tune in.

There's been plenty of people really really really good at boxing that just can't make anywhere near the same money as Mayweather does. Even Pacquiao isn't on anywhere near the same level when it comes to ppv buys.

There are also plenty of pro boxers who are even more despicable than FMJ who can't back up their shitty actions with wins so can't cultivate the distaste people have for them.

IMO his earnings are based about half on his skill/record and half people's hate of him. Without the hate he'd make half as much but without the skill (even if he only had a little less) he'd make a lot less than half (again IMO).

  5. I don't think I'll be going to this one. We got Barao on the last Midlands card but our viewing pleasure was lessened by a retard next to us shouting "**** DECK HIM" over and over whilst shadow boxing throughout every. single. fight.

The card looks exciting nonetheless, I'd definitely go if I got a dipshit exclusion zone guarantee.

  6. All of the major Athletic Commissions are a joke. Texas sanctioned Margarito, California's "punishments" are ridiculous and Nevada, well, everyone knows their record.

TRT is PED usage without the stigma, it can easily be abused and obviously enhances your performance. You can't blame the fighters for using it but it is clearly hypocritical to allow it and ban people for using nasal sprays and the like. It's yet another case of the people with the power to make decisions in sport being completely clueless about the facts.

  7. Would be nice to rock up anywhere again knowing we are capable of taking points

    Mon achieved this

We need to get back to a side nobody wants to play

I think this sums up my realistic hopes for next season (or three, however long it takes).

In a dream world we'd sign Seedorf and make him team captain.

  8. I'm not sure putting in an obvious fix in one of the most high profile fights of the year is the best way to establish Bradley as Top Rank's flag ship fighter. This is **** terrible for business long term, IMO. I know less avid boxing fans now than I did when I was 9 and having stuff like this happen is only going to turn more people away.

Bradley is now going to be known to the casual fans as "the guy who cheated Pacquiao" even if he had no idea and no amount of PR is going to change that. Maybe Arum can feel the end nearing for him and figures that cashing in on controversy will benefit his bank balance most.

  9. Liverpool Away. Presumably they have given up on the Prem and are instead focusing their attention on winning the Tour de France.

I was thinking more ASP world tour. What they've done there is put a liverpool badge on a wet suit. Good job warrior.

  10. I would rather we had berbatov but wouldn't be disappointed with holt at all' be a great partnership him and bent

I wouldn't be distraught if PL signed Holt but it would definitely dampen my optimism for his reign. Signing hard working, thirty somethings with one season of top flight experience from your former club doesn't seem particularly vibrant or reinvigorating to me.

The amount of fuss I've read about Richard being optimistic makes me think that Berbatov is closer to the kind of forward we'll be pursuing. Pogrebnyak on a free would be another option I'd be happy with.
