  1. IMHO,the point is,that if you live in a country where everyone owns a gun, then you must owne one as well

If yiou live in a country where everyone carries a knife.then you must carry a knife also.

If you live in a country where people dont carry knives or guns then there is no need for you to be armed.

I feel like I just drift through life, nothing particularly good ever happens, nothing ever works out like I hoped, it's just one long, lonely passing of time, however, being back on VT has actually cheered me up a little.

    Your easily pleased ?!

'I want to be young and wild, and then I want to be middle-aged and rich, and then I want to be old and annoy people by pretending that I'm going deaf''

0/2 so far but the third option is doable.

Me and a mate did the deaf thing when I was about 13.We would go into a shop and point and nod our heads and generally confuse the shop attendant, then when we got what we wanted,we would say "thank you"and walk out.

  4. I returned my Galaxy A8 to the shop today to get a new one as my one ( streight out of the box ) asked for a 4 digit code. The shop said they could are happy to  replace my A8 with a new one but I would have to come back on thursday to pick it up.The other option was to fix my A8 on the spot and give me $40 for having to bring it in,as well as a 2 year guarentee.IMHO.thats pritty good.

When one of these flys past your flat window

There are loads of kites up here. Never seen one fly past that close before though. Wow.

We were down to 1 pair of these birds in the late 80's early 90's in Wales. Their resurgence is a real victory for the reintroduction programmes.

Is that like a hawk ?because we get a few hawks flying over us now and then.

So Buendia playing off Watkins and Bailey in right midfield. Cash more defensive to cover the right and Moreno attacking on left and JJ joining Buendia behind front three.

Wonder what we'll do when Kamara is fit

And when R.Carlos is fit to play ?

By the end of the day (after Chelsea match)…

If we lose, we stay 11th.

If we draw, we stay 11th.

If we win, we stay 11th.

    What a life in mid-table.

I am starting to wonder if there are any teams above 11th and if there are any teams below 11th,FFS.

Not defending Gerrard, as i think Emery's system is vastly better in every way, but the possession stats dont tell the story really, Gerrard's possession in the 22/23 season was as follows:

    image.png.233296ea3ad6ff0f107ccd327b690919.png

Emery's average Possession, as per your list, is 50.3%.

Gerrard had better possession in 6/11 games, or 54.5% of games.

Emery had more possession in 7/12 games, or 58.3% of games.

So from Gerrards 11 games in 22/23, and Emery's 12 games in 22/23, the possession stats are basically exactly the same (50% vs 50.3%).

Anyway, doesnt take away from the point that i prefer Emery 100%, my point was more that these kind of stats put out there dont always reflect what they purport to reflect, although i do agree Emery's possession is more effective, intelligent, easier on the eye etc etc, but he isnt really having "more" of it, Emery is just doing better with what possession he does have, than Gerrard did.

I hope you get what i mean.

You can have possession for 90% of the game if you keep the ball in your owne half. What is important is,NOT how much possession you have, but what you do with the possession that you have.

The US doesn't need to do things like this publicly.  In private I suspect Russia have been told what's what.

The US does not need to project strength,  Russia on the other hand does when we all know its weak.

All that you say is true, but,Putin has gone public and I think the USA/NATO should show him,and Russia ( in no uncertain terms ) that he is NOT the big fish in the pond that he seems to think he is.All this sabre rattling from Russia needs to be put in its proper place.

Steven just wanted him out and at that time the club were willing to meet his demands. Now, Emery wants him around (at least for now).

He would NOT look SG in the eye,so he had to go.
