We went as strong as we could today. Defensive errors for all of their goals, really. Could we have started Hause in place of one of the other CBs? Leeds were in our faces today and were very aggressive which we couldn't deal with. We will get better I think. Bit worried about the game on the weekend, though. 

Guy plays out of his skin and still isn't on the winning side. What world are we living in? 

I'd like us to go for an upgrade on him and/or Konsa in the summer. We have to do better if we're to progress.

Aside from the obvious local sides, there's no club I dislike more than Wet Spam.

I think we will only let Targett go if we get a replacement in. Seems as though the news has probably come from the other end that they're in negotiations with us because we're usually extremely very good at keeping these things quiet. 

Interesting that the news has come out today about us pulling out of the race. I wonder if the club allowed it to be a smokescreen for another player until now and decided to nip it in the bud because we've got a deal over the line. 

One player on the bench who can adequately cover three positions is useful enough to the team. Essentially he's Tuanzebe's replacement, which is fine. 

I'm sure we won't be needing a striker in the summer if he comes good for Preston which could save us a load of money. 

Don't want him to go but this could potentially lead to the most profit we ever make on any player aside from an academy graduate. Can we find someone better than him for £40/50m? Don't know.

He's repaid his fee for me, quite easily. He's been a very reliable penalty taker, scored some important goals for us and broke his fast during Ramadan to play. He isn't good enough for us now but I don't understand the huge disrespect. 

With crossing like his, it's no surprise he didn't make it as a winger. Although I think he gets forward really well but his end product is severely lacking at times. It's such a shame. 

For the bottom half of the table he is an acceptable starter who will give you maybe 6.5 to 7/10 performances on average. That's not good enough for a team in the top half. He will be a good squad option but in the first instance he just needs someone better than him to challenge for his spot - Ashley Young definitely isn't that but Digne could well be. 

A genuine upgrade on Grealish. He will no doubt raise the standards of the other players, hopefully Luiz and Buendia. Gerrard won't accept any passengers so I'm sure he has come to play and not just pick up a wage. 

Anyone think that Gerrard will be pushing for any loan signings this window as a stop gap? 

Funny that he got his first assist against a Dean Smith side. I hope he will get his contract signed soon, he's an amazing talent for 18 years of age.
