A potential 15 months out and given our direction of travel, and his age, I hope this isn't the last time we see him put on a Villa shirt. The sad thing is that he had really found his form again under Emery last season. 

Didn't really have a proper plan after losing Mings, kept changing the system and players heads had already gone. Emery will need to pick them up before the next game.

Guess it all depends on who starts on the weekend and who our settled 11 is but for sake of argument it makes sense to play the likes of Olsen, Tielemans, Coutinho and Digne if they are not automatic starters. I wouldn't want to see more than 4, max 5 changes. Thankfully our squad is a lot better than it was. 

If true, this could be a good bit of business for us. 

On one hand, he's nowhere near our first team given our squad and ambitions. We can keep loaning him out until he's ready but there's not much point from a financial perspective and is a risk if he doesn't make it and has to leave for a free or low fee.

If we sell him now and have the option to buy him back in a couple of years if he's mature enough and fulfills his potential, then great. 

Might not cut it as a starter in the PL but could be a great option in Europe where the pace is likely to be a lot slower. Did well today. 

The guy is a born winner, so why has he joined a team full of absolute losers???

Will be worth keeping around the squad this season, especially for all of the cups that we will no doubt be pushing to win. Shown a lot of promise over pre season. Will save us money as well if he can play like that in competitive games. 

Waste of wages and a squad place. We can do better than him right now. 

Couldn't quite tell but I don't know if he got caught out for the first goal before Konsa gave away the pen. He's definitely not a LB, don't want to see him played there again. 

Are we at risk of overloading the forward positions now?

Has to be backup to Ollie next season. Loan out Duran to our feeder club and hope he does well in a half decent league. 

Not every signing is going to work out. It's not happening for him. Give him until the end of the season and we can decide what to do then.
