I personally think Ricardo Vaz Te would have been a more effective signing that this guy, granted I know nothing about him, but this signing smells of Dawkins Mark 2, i'd happily be proven wrong though.  Seems a desperate buy.

I think the problem is that he doesn't have a decent YouTube montage, unlike messers Belhanda and Kiyotake. Just hope he isn't a waste like Dawkins. Will place trust in Lambert I'm sure he has a 60 page dossier on him!!

would anyone take a punt on Ricardo Vaz Te? He's handed in a transfer request at West Ham, I presume he wants playing time, but i've always rated him whenever I've seen him play, he terrorised us last year in the opening game of the Premier League, would be a good option to challenge Weimann on the right, very strong too, he's only 26 years old and can play any of the striker roles to cover Gabby, Weimann and Benteke, i know it may be a luxury signing but he would probably only cost 3million, would be worth a punt imo

It would be nice for Lambert to copy the style AC Milan adopted against playing Barcelona, if we play our normal game we will get ripped to shreds, if we play more compact in defence and the middle, close the gaps and just hit them on the break we stand more of a chance of getting a result.  I would prefer us going out to play for a draw than to win this game, we cannot afford another spanking, forget the goal difference we can't afford for our confidence to be shot.

Agreed, depends on how bad the groin strain is, can be a Grade 1, 2 or 3, 3 being the worst.  I currently have a Grade 2 groin injury, used to play twice a week, initially took 6 weeks off, rushed back and within 5 minutes the pain came back, in total it has been 7 months and I have not played a game, they take very long to heal fully, although i have not had the benefit of a special physio, very nasty injury!!  Needs proper healing
