I think we have enough cover in this area! Any money we have in January needs to be spent on a keeper and defenders imo!

Ok...we've established that he's Welsh and injured. Would anyone risk playing Bedeau or don't you think he's ready? Over the years there are numerous players who have made their league debut in big matches and performed well....why not Bedeau?
-
So who will replace Chester if he's out? Bedeau, Bree or Jedinak? It's a really tough one!

Sky is blue, water is wet, and there is always next season for Gary Gardner...
This sounds like a weather forecast on Gard(e)ners world!

He's not young, he's 28.
He's still 'relatively' young for a keeper and is also playing in a league that he needs time to adapt to!

Normal U23 PL2 home games are - and occasional away games - but not BSC games.
In other news, we are at home to Swansea in the FA Youth Cup
Cheers SirSteveUk....I will be looking out for them in the future

It's always difficult to judge a keeper after so few games. Confidence is often the crucial attribute for young goalkeepers. The more clean sheets we manage will boost that confidence. I would prefer to wait until January before writing him off at this early stage!

For me he looks a little scared to make a tackle and has been that way since his tackle on Coleman while playing fro Wales. I think the backlash he received after that has out him on the back foot.
His performances also dropped from that point. A bit more confidence and maybe get him back to where he was when he first came, when the majority of us considered him a great improvement at left back.
This is spot on IMO!

Not a great player, but a great profesional! I think he thoroughly deserved his new one year deal. He is a real credit to his profession. I will miss his attitude, effort and loyalty when he leaves at the end of the season. I think he has been an inspiration to our youngsters to!

You can change your car, your house, even your wife, but you can never change your football team. I pity people who can’t understand this as they’ll never experience the true highs that football can bring to real fans.
Are you giving me permission to change my wife? If so, can I wait until she's finished cooking my evening meal?

If we go up at the end of the season I would like us to sign the following players to keep us in the Premier League:
Gueye
Amavi
Veretout
Sanchez
Gestede
Ayew
Lescott
And a new contract for Micah!

Glory hunting fans at my place....mainly man ure. Gets on my norks when I hear em discuss how unlucky "we" were last weekend.....in their brummie accents.
I showed one of them a pic of Paul McGrath and Norman Whiteside (not in their united kit) and he didn't have a clue who they were. Nor did he recognise teddy sheringham.
Then I saw an pic of him from the company's 5 a side competition from about 10 years ago....he was in a chelsea shirt.
Word removed !
Great story!

Here is the easiest way to find out if those 'so called' Man Utd fans are real! Just ask them what the original name of the club was? I just love winding up the glory hunters with this question! I must have asked this question many, many times over the years. I doubt that even 10% of those I've asked knew the answer!
For those that are interested the answer is Newton Heath. Have fun asking the question in you're respective offices!

Sadly this is very much true, I just don't really want to admit it.
I'm in an office of 50 people in Digbeth, and the entire office support either Liverpool, Man United or Arsenal.
I'm the only Villa fan, and get lampooned for it. In my own city.
If that's the case mate then you are the lucky one! The others are probably sad 'glory hunters' who couldn't find either Manchester or Liverpool on a map.

Woke up and instead of going straight to porn hub went straight to VT. thank you DS.
Dean Smith and his football philosophy is doing more for me now than the porn hub! Oops....be back in 10 mins (morning glory)

He made a couple of wonderful saves yesterday. A settled back 4 will help him enormously. 2 clean sheets will also help. I haven't started to judge him yet!

Our best signing since Benteke imo

My opinion is that the only way to find out if Bedeau (or anyone else) is good enough is to play them...we are going to have to sometime, so why not now? I would prefer to play him rather than Jedinak. I won't judge him on one game and who's to say but he could save us a lot of money in the longterm.
