Kone has almost 1 in 3 and has scored/played in World cup/African cup of nations/La Liga/Bundesleague/ Pl/ Championship etc....your post is laughable! BTW Gabby is 'a Villa fan to boot'.....and been given the boot! Truly unbelievable

    And internation managers and Koeman (one of the best managers in the PL) pick him.....if you know your football you will see how much space and freedom he creates for others.....its not all about goalscoring.....see Gestede as a perfect example. If you dont put it on a plate for him he becomes invisible! Kone would create numerous chances for McCormack et al and chip in with a few at this level. Moreover, its very little risk if its only a loan deal! would love to see who you would go for, given our current position?

    Agree, get rid of Ayew, not a 'team player' IMO and looks like he wants to move on! Right now, I'd swap him for Valencia leaving us the same amount of cash to buy the others we need!

    How about Arouna Kone from Everton? Not the best but could be useful back up if we sign Hernandez! Seen him being quite effective playing out wide as well. Would prefer him to Valencia.

    Not obvious to me as I cant recall seeing Gestede touch the ball more than twice when he was on the pitch.....I did see him move once though and thats a rarity in itself.

    Its because he is off to the World Cup qualifiers. Which doesnt actually mean that we couldnt sign him. Hope its desperation on Hull's part so they can get the cash and buy someone with the proceeds
