Marseille are looking for a new manager in the summer. My money is on Remi to walk out of the AVFC door and straight into Marseille management where he will be backed and supported by the board.

Yet again the board of AVFC have let us down as fans and I bet not one of them will stand up and explain the reasoning behind this decision. Why when we are desperate don't they approach Gayle, even if it's a loan deal?!?!

My opinion of Lambert was that he lost his way and became clueless. He had his favourites who basically got away with everything and has been part of the problem we are now experiencing with some of our senior players. Lambert made some very hasty and rash choices whilst he was manager of AVFC hence for the above reasons in my view he is a berk "AKA Lamberk" Don't care if you don't like my opinions or views I'm not going to lose any sleep over it!

Rhodes wants away from Blackburn (Lamberk effect!) Snap him up and let's get moving, superb addition to the squad but unfortunately the board will no doubt disagree

I'm not sure Shelvey sulks and has had too many clubs for a 23 year old, something is definitely wrong there. Townsend has been with the U21's so will be off the pace. I think it may end up costing them bringing in all these new faces, look at QPR

As we've all but given up and now look forward to a new challenge in the Championship who do you think will be joining the Mighty AVFC dropping down this season? For me I want to see Newcastle drop, the fans are full of it this window with all there signings and to me it's just panic buying. I think the other will be Sunderland as I think Norwich & Swansea have more about them to stay up.

My only thought with Riviere is it gives us another option and would be cheap. Gouffran is and would be a good shout

Would it be worth trying to take Gouffran & Rivière from Newcastle on loan? Both are not wanted, maybe they would have a point to prove

Remi has said he hopes to bring in a Striker before Monday but who is left on the list? I can't think of one name that will come while we are in this situation. It sums up AVFC when Debuchy won't even come on loan for 6 months when he's guaranteed first team football

It certainly makes a difference not spending a Saturday night pissed off yet again.
