Vermeeren is one of the best young players in Europe to be fair, he's just turned 19 and already played 2 full seasons there and been called up by Belgium. He was never going to stay in the Belgian league long and lots of world class players have started their career there (Courtois, de Bruyne, Doku to name a few).
I don't think we needed to sign another attacker in Rogers given we're quite well stacked there and we could have waited until summer to sign the Serbian right back. Vermeeren would have always been a very good signing for us and it was always obvious we needed another deep lying midfielder whether Kamara got injured or not.
There's absolutely no chance he'd have joined us over Atletico. So you need your expectations in check.

Let's hope Palace get the new manager bounce Vs Spurs in a few weeks.
-
They'll give us a tough game at VP that's for sure.
-
I only saw parts of the game but just having him there with his passing ability opens up so many spaces in the middle for us to exploit. Opposition don't know whether to press him or let him pass. Really surprised Guardiola never signed him for City tbh. Great for us though.

Karma's a bitch.

Back fit ready for matches now.

Let's wrap him in bubble wrap till the injury curse has cleared.
-
He's showing some good skills and numbers but a few things.
1. He's been injured for large portion of season. Injuries have always been an issue for him even when playing for the u23s etc.
2. When he has played the majority of teams he's faced are those at the bottom end of the Championship. It's a large step up from this to the Premier League.
Still he's doing well and fair play to him for making the move and challenging himself. He wouldn't have made it just staying with us imo, so for his long term development this was the best thing he could have done.

is it worth giving Pau a go in Kamara's role? They have similar attributes
No the key strength of his is building up play from back where there is more time and space. To play Kamaras role you need to be combative and mobile too.

Would seem to me the most sensible solution for Fulham - that and ninety minutes of prayer that no one else gets injured or sent off.
I hate this formation but given the options I do agree it's the best plan.
-
Didn't he miss a tournament before with France as well. Doesn't have much luck with injuries but he doesn't shy away from things.
-
I do like him but yeah he needs a specific kind of partner and Carlos it isn't.
-
Would be just our luck.
-
Id say he's the worst centre back we have, nothing against him hes not the worst four choice or even fifth but when chasing top four I'm desperately hoping Pau and Konsa are back soon.

To give him his dues, he had a good game
I thought he was alright too. Nothing he could do for the goal.

Or what could happen to man United if they don’t turn up.
Of course.

I think West Ham getting hammered will be a good indication of what could potentially happen to us today if we don't turn up.

Brighton were so careless throwing everything forward. Surely a point away is good enough. Clowns.

Brilliant.
Like us being managed by David Villa or SHA being managed by Danny Shittu.

What did they do?
- One of them sustained a knee injury against Oxford
- Another injured his shoulder in the same fixture
- Tom McIntyre had his red card rescinded, but fractured his ankle.
Jesus man, do you not read?! It says right there..
Sorry man thanks for saving the effort and reading it for me.

What did they do talk about bad luck!

Savio from City Group Girona on his way to City now. Another ahead of Jack in the pecking order potentially.

I'd be livid if I was a Sheff Utd fan. It's not just they're not good enough they've given up. Same Vs us. Shows how bad our relegation side was when they'll pick up more points still. Dreadful.
