Your take is what a doctor friend of mine said, too. I don't know. I feel like what counts as "normal" in terms of personality and affect has been made very narrow in the USA and sadly increasingly in Britain, too.
In a lot of the world if you're depressed it just means you're alive.

This is going to get very ugly by the looks of things.
You wouldn't put it past Brighton to knock a rugby score past this lot.
Should score at least 5 here.

Something needs be done about these ACL injuries....am guessing its a boot thing but no way they can just spring up like this
Was a problem in womens football as well
How can it be a boot thing? Do you mean losing grip/balance?

Just in case you were wondering, Donald Trump has launched a sneaker collection. And it's **** awful

Liverpool so strong, but Brentford are rubbish.

Villa have missed him on set pieces.
Just wonder the very slight chance of making the Euros has pushed his recovery?
He willed his fitness into existence?

Unless the service is really exceptional, I mean really doing something special, why does anyone tip? Is it out of pity for people doing low paid jobs?
The US is different where paying people a minimum wage is like resurrecting chairman Mao.

It was widely reported earlier that Roy Hodgson was going to be sacked later today.
It’s now being reported he was taken ill at training today. Hopefully nothing serious.
I think that is just a lie so that he didn't take the press conference. Oliver Glasner will replace him.

He's been given the goal, not an OG.

Sounds like something serious is up. I thought it might be Iranian nuclear programme at first but hints now it might be Russia related. We should fine out fairly soon, though. The fact discussion with allies was referenced in the statement implies a European dimension. Very unusual.
I would speculate it's related to Trump/ Putin/Russia and Tucker Carlson.
But just wildly guessing.

How much of an impact, if any, is RFK Jr going to have in the election?
He's polling well.

Ireland would never have joined the Axis, that is very far fetched even for an alternate history thread. But if they had, all they had to offer was there location. Certainly couldn't have contributed militarily.

Why US economy is powering ahead of Europe's
The US economy has defied economic theory where inflation has dropped or stabilised without unemployment rising.

He walked off the pitch and down the tunnel to me that means it can't be as bad as Mings so I am hopeful he will be back sooner.
Cruciate ligament injuries do not prevent walking, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

I watched 1 and 3 in preparation, missing out 2 because I have a vague memory of it being shite
This far in to 4 and I'm not sure if it's just massively overrated, probably because of who's in it, it's nowhere near as clever as it thinks it is to the point where a good chunk of season 1 on a second viewing felt like guff
It's a 7/10 TV show, not top table must see
I'm not sure why you re-watched since they have nothing to do with each other. Season 1 is a high point in television of the last 2 decades.

Spurs will soon be a speck on the horizon. Time to start looking over our shoulder than even thinking about the teams above us.
Our luck has run out and we’ve been poor for a long time (yesterday aside). Injuries will kill us and id be surprised if we finish 6th.
At least we have 40 points.
