  1. And I've just seen CA outside my house. You believe everything you read don't you. lol
  2. This ^^^ post just made me smile for the first time today, thanks.. Brilliant post. You must have heard the same as me as the person I know was actually there when the cake was delivered because his sisters best friends mum actually used to live next door to CA.
  3. I not sure, but the first time I heard his name mentioned was on the Adrian (ginger word removed) Durham & the Fat Darren Gough radio show on talkshite where they were making a point of he would be about the only sort of manager we could attract now we are a small club with no ambition and a chairman who cant be arsed no more - Fckers .
  4. Can someone please explain why Grayson odds have been slashed and where the speculation started? Cheers. i've asked the question about 4 times now without a response. ta
  5. Can we stop going on about all the odd, outcomes, and returns. Can someone also tell me where these Grayson rumours came from? Just another school kid or twitter?
  6. Could be Billic to Everton? Could be Everton. I rate Bilic to be honest. Good upcoming manager, but would we want him here? Same catagory as RM? Interesting.
  7. He's has never back-tracked. He just never got carried away with the rumours. Thats what they were rumours, maybe strong rumours. But never at an advanced stage and some were claiming. As soon as he said he knew something, which he did.....People suddenly got excited and ran away with the rumours prematurely. Then what do you know, out of the blue a MM appeared on twitter appearing to know it as well. Muppet.
  8. Ignore MM on twitter. Coop_86 is the only one with some credibility. This talk of a meeting was complete BS. MM on H & V mentioned Bilic? Hmmm..Why would he mention that? And where on earth did these ridiculous Simon Grayson rumours come from??
  9. Yeah apparently he was shot dead by his grandfather in a family argument. Sad news. Now back to the topic
  10. MYSTERYMAN parks player Posts: 76 Re: Who Should be Aston Villa Manager ? Now with new, revised poll « Reply #4897 on: Today at 02:34:30 PM »What is Slaven Billic up to these days ? Is that cryptic?
  11. I thought you knew better than that mate. BS!!
  12. It's getting a bit tiresome now mate. Isn't going to happen. Move on.
  13. Very quiet on here today. Just thought I'd quickly check in. Obviously no news regarding Moyes? Just pure speculation. I can't see how Randy would ever consider McLeish? It just seems that the press have caught onto the fact that a twitter rumour about a ginger scot has been doing the rounds and have put 2+2 together and come up with 5. Same with the boomakers. So we are none the wiser.
  14. Good job we don't pay attention to odds. Mark Hughes 6/4 Alex McLeish 2/1 David Moyes 5/1 Owen Coyle 6/1 Steve McClaren 8/1 Rafa Benitez 10/1 Gus Poyet 14/1 Carlo Ancelotti 16/1
  15. Everton fans seem to be really shitting themselves. I did come across one though, who didn't seem to be bitter. He said everton were a big club, but he considers Aston Villa a slightly bigger club than they are nowadays. And wished Moyes all the best if he did join us. He said, after all, we can't hold on to him forever; and if Villa can offer him funds - then I say fair play to Villa. Good man
  16. Good investment I'd say, seen as he has managed to finish above us most of the time, while spending a small franction of the ammount of money we ahve. I don't think Moyes is £7m better than Hughes. £7m is too much to pay for a manager when you could get Hughes for free. You can then use that £7m to spend on a player or player wages. I'd say he is miles above Hughes in management and as a person. Moyes is a loyal guy, he has been at Everton for 9 years. Hughes struggles to last more than a season at a club, no thanks! This. 7 million well spent and cheap at twice the price. If Moyes is the man RL wants, then he has to get him whatever the cost. The bottom line is if the rumours are true and Ancelotti was in our thoughts; then he would have cost Villa much much more. And if RL holds Moyes in such high regard as we are led to believe, then I do not think the compensation will be a problem, as Lerner will believe it is just the beginning of a trusted investment.
  17. Oh dear - some everton fans are getting very touchy. Oh dear. Boo who!!!! Poor everton fans.
  18. EXACTLY! Why on earth that was posted in here I don't know.
  19. Another bollox talker on Twitter - great. Lets all bet our houses on that gem. Oh go away Mr negative!!! Jesus, all most of the fans do on here is bloody moan. Yes, it may be bullshit. But, that guy who tweeted it works with Teale, McGrath and Taylor and he was keeping very hush hush last night. Besides, who would bet their house on a managers position? Now that would be madness. laughable. Well if you want to believe what's on Twitter that's entirely your call. That's not being negative its just being realistic. The fact he works with Teale, McGrath and Taylor means jack shit as they will know nothing, just like the rest of us. The only thing I think any of us can say with certainty is that Lerner and Faulkner keep things very close. Oh and the bet comment was sarcasm No!!!!!!! Was it really!! Well, i believe it is indeed true we are after Moyes. Whether we get him is another matter.
  20. Well its anyone's guess. But, it won't be hughes.

  22. If this is the case and they are all pally pally. You would think he would have been discussed and in by now, instead of Benitez, Martinez and huges being involved at all. Yes, maybe. But, maybe the plan was always to speak to him after his holiday bearing in mind if true what Villa_insider said ; that he was in our thoughts from the 4th june.
  23. Wow! I nearly fell off my chair then. Something we actually agree on. Well done. Theres hope for you yet
  24. Coop_86 Chris Cooper @ @macca7172 He's also playing Golf with Villa's assistant manager, and remains great friends with Houllier whilst on the putting green
