You're right, I would like Jores in there aswell. Just think Clark has done well so far, and am therefore not so worried. We have other worries though.

I don't think our season comes crushing down even if Jores is off for six months. Clark will be fine covering for him.

Been disappointed in Andi so far. Capable of alot more. Definately agree a spell on the bench could do him good. Give Tonev a couple of games.

I don't think Andi's been as bad as many here are saying, but I still agree with this. Except that I'm not a big fan of Tonev. I think one game would do.

First goal was on Lowton.

This 'passing back to Guzan who hoofs the ball up to Benteke' -tactic just has to stop. I can't watch it, especially not at home.

When Okore was injured and I saw Ciaran warming up, I was actually feeling fine. In a short time he has showed good improvement. I am confident he'll continue to do well.

Rest? We haven't played in weeks! He needs to get his head straight.

Not a lot of joy to be taken from this right now, but Clark continues to play well. Lowton and Luna on the other hand, not so much.

Our passing football is too predictable. With the exception of Benteke, Delph and sometimes Gabby, everyone else also automatically looks to pass the ball on the instant they get it. They don't hold it up or run with it to create space, and eventually the ball gets worked back to the keeper.

 

If we want to play this way, we need more players who are willing to drive with the ball forward or create space for themselves, because all our stupid attempts at working the ball forward is predictable and easily sussed out.

Yes, it seems like none of our players really want the ball, with the exception of the players you mention. It's a problem when 2/3 of our midfield does not want to take responsibility of our play forward.

At least Weimann was involved, I don't think he was our worst player.

Losing this would not mean we have not progressed, but it would be quite a setback. Important game to get a result, not just play well. I'm nervous and excited.

Talking of managers who would've taken over, what about Jupp Heynckes.. After all he had just won everything in the European game available to him that season, with a team a similar stature of utd.

Tangent, but I love Heynckes because of his managing tenure at M'gladbach in the 80's with guys like Matthaus on the line-up. Well, except for that second leg 4-0 loss to Real at Bernabeu... still hurts.

Now I've watched Flight and I really liked it. And I think that now, Denzel Washington is my favourite actor of all times. Flight, 8/10, Denzel Washington in Flight 9.5/10.

 

Yesterday I watched The Good, the Bad and the Ugly again for the first time in years. I really like that film. It's the 2nd time I watched the uncut version. The cut off scenes were not that good and I can understand why they were cut off in the first place. But there's something strange with Tuco's voice in those scenes. It's like in the original cut his voice was worked with, which couldn't be done in the edited scenes. Anyone knows anything about that?

I just checked this thread for the first time ever. First of all I would like to congratulate you for an excellent taste in films.

I haven't seen the uncut version, but I'll try to watch it some day now that I have something interesting to look for.

In which part of the film did you notice this strangeness in Tuco's voice?

His voice was a little strange in the scenes that were cut in the original version. The one I remember most is when he meets up with the three brothers who helps him to catch Blondie in the hotel room. Another of those scenes is when they take a short rest in a dixie camp. There are a few and I don't really remember them all. Those scenes doesn't add much to the story, but it makes it a little longer and that film can never be too long.
