Dan, you asked last night about my AoE. I've done a bit of reading and my talent build is quite different to the perceived wisdom on the mage forums. Certainly for fire damage, my AoE is probably better than most. I don't have PoM and I don't seem to miss it - everyone else seems to think it's mandatory. It's all going to change with the next patch though...

One other thing - anyone know where there is a matrix of enchant type against armor? I want to try to work out which enchants I should put where.

Anyway, it makes up for me never winning rolls in dungeons. I'm going to roll up an alt to play when no-one wants to do instances. Thinking about a mini-Nays. Any other suggestions? I think I'd get bored as a warrior or a one-buttoner and sam has a one-button alt already.

What the heck are you linking greenie shite for?! Juju, come with us mate. It's not about just doing dungeons or whatever, it's about having a laugh with your mates. Its green, but its surprisingly good. Didnt know if it would be of use for Limpid who is running around with an "of the eagle" staff that dropped off a trashmob on a Tribute run we did. Me and Dan did the first couple of quests where that drops, and including selling the staff to a vendor we probably made 15gold for as many minutes questing. I'm running around with this.

I did mean "no, i dont need them myself" If you need something in a run, roll need on it! (and they were Shadow resist gloves, werent they?) Okay, so as it was cloth and had a resist on which I don't have I can need? (Pretty sure it was nature, but it would apply to shadow too). None of us want to ninja anything by mistake and the "rules" about this are not clear. and when I said "can I need?" and you said "no", you were replying to something else? I thought people usually said "nn" or similar. No wonder I get confused with this. I guess Sam should have needed too.

Your boots dropped last night. I had (yet another) no cloth run. Gettting boring now. Can we try Bel'Gaer (or whatever he's called) the one through the hall full of dwarves? It'll have to be early for me though.

I can play 6-8, so we could do it twice. I'd like to do incendius and the next boss after tavern too.

So nothing to help me against you or Sam. No point in the arcane tree at all now. PoM at tier 5 is the only thing I'd want and it's just not worth that many points. All mages will be Elemental. There are some nice changes - especially in the fire tree.

Sheep is always the opener though, isnt it? Your Frost Nova is my Seduce. They can use ranged attack under Frost Nova. Then you give up Blink. Cooldowns are there to be used. A Warrior has 2 charges. Charge which is used out of combat, and Intercept which is used in combat. If you get the opening hit on a warrior, he cannot charge as he is in combat. His intercept is as on a cooldown which is twice the length of your Blink. Good to know. Probably. I walk around with +300 spellpower on a lot of the time. Plus i get further buffs from my Demons and Curses. I dont have any untalented Instant Cast nukes though, and even the two i do have certain requitements. One is an 11 point talent, costs a soul shard and is on a 15 second cooldown (shadowburn) and the other (conflagrate) is a 31 point talent, needs a spell called Immolate to be on the target, and is on 10 second cooldown. Also there is a Warlock talent called Ruin, which turns a crit from usual damage +50% to usual damage +100%. I do belive Mages have the same sort of thing with their Frost Spells? I dont have Conflagrate or Ruin at the moment by the way, but i have had them in the past. I haven't looked at frost talent yet. Most warriors i PvP hate fighting Mages more than any other class on the game. They just cant hit them for some reason. Frostbolt slows down as much, if not more than Hamstring? Fire specced Mages can kill them in seconds (Sheep > Fireball > PoM > Pyroblast > Frost Nova > Cone of Cold > Arcane Explosion until death or something similar.) i think Frost specced Mages have crazy crowd control skills, and Cold Snap (resets cooldowns) and Ice Block (its a Paladin Bubble) Definitely going to have to look at respec. Vishkan from the Dashers is a Rogue and he hates this. Fake Damage!!! If you'd seen the number of dead guys - nothing fake about it :-)

My equivalent of seduce puts a fast heal on it's target. If I bandage when he's sheeped, he is also back to full health. I can't break charge without giving up Blink (which now doesn't break target). I cannot fight against you or sam AT ALL. There is nothing I can do to stop your attacks other than Counterspell which even squirrels are immune to. Also my instant cast spells do nothing like the amounts of damage you list - is that just down to gear? I'm just about matched with a similar geared warrior in a duel, but wins are 50-50. Mind you I was casting AoE for 20000 a time in the lyceum last night. :-) sct was like paint on the screen.

True, i also did no quests. See how easy the Lyceum was when we ran then fought? With a good tank we can farm the bosses we know. I want to try Gael'whatever though and we have the keys to do the vault.

Me and Sam need to do this. I have one piece of black blood which is bop, so we need another. The other bits will come. You can apply the libram to another person, so it doesn't matter who picks it up.
