Marka Ragnos Posted May 1, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted May 1, 2013 I'm basically a neutral who enjoys watching all the West Midlands clubs, but I really feel affection for the Villa and I'd like to see them stay in the PL. I admire this forum, and I look forward mostly to sitting back and absorbing the threads of conversations among fans. I live in America, where I work as a university professor and journalist, and I have deep family ties to the West Midlands. My first "soccer" game was at the Hawthorns on 21 Dec. 1974, in the Second Division, against Villa. The match didn't go well especially well for Villa. My cousins took me. I've tried to get into the local rivalries as best I could, but I've realized I'm just a pro-West Midlands neutral, and it's best for me to keep my head down and try not to offend anyone.
