darrenm
When trying to insert a photo, if I use either the [imgxx] [/imgxx] tags manually, or if I click the image icon and paste the URL, it says "you're not allowed to use that extension" when I'm posting a link without something like .png etc at the end. e.g. https://doc-08-b8-docs.googleusercontent.com/docs/securesc/lb6udnu4re6ebs2fvejt4ck3o9qkcc6n/uf829pnn8l7i4miou7e78rv9iif9ib73/1365184800000/07570259014899894216/07570259014899894216/0Bwk0csJenKUyaFRUaVlaTE1lNkU is a valid link, it displays as an image in the preview but won't like me actually post it. Chrome, Linux+Windows. cheers. Link to comment
0 limpid Posted April 5, 2013 Administrator Share Posted April 5, 2013 Yes, this is how it works. You can only embed images where the URL ends in one of the common extensions for images. You can post the link as it is a valid url, but it won't get embedded as an image. Link to comment
