I went in The Royal Oak in Handsworth just down the road from the ground last season which was the only pub that would allow Villa fans anywhere near the ground and there was a good atmosphere in there. I've heard rumours that it won't be letting in Villans this time around though and on the WM Police Twitter feed it suggests Villa fans drink in the Jewellery Quarter before jumping on the train/metro to the ground.
