Genie Posted April 23, 2012 Share Posted April 23, 2012 Robbie Savage faces big bill after Newcastle taxi bet Robbie Savage makes what could be the most expensive bet of his life after promising to buy a new taxi for a cab driver if Newcastle finish in the top four this season. The bet was made at the beginning of the season, and on BBC Radio 5 live's 606 programme recently the cabbie rang in to remind Robbie of his bet. Colin Murray was also quick to tease him on Sunday night's Match of the Day 2. Newcastle are currently fourth after a 3-0 victory over Stoke on Saturday, and with four games to go Savage could be left with a bill of over £30,000 if Alan Pardew's team can make the Champions League places.
