CarryOnVilla Posted July 22, 2019 Share Posted July 22, 2019 Hi, Despite my grandad was a Blues supporter, I gained my love of the game from him. I say he was a Blues supporter, but he was a more of a football supporter and every weekend he scanned the midland fixtures and went to see a match that looked like it would be a good match, be it premier league or non league. This is where he got me in to football, as to give my mum a rest he took me along to some games. We started out going to see WBA, Walsall and others, eventually taking me to Villa Park, where i saw Dwight Yorke score a peach from outside the box against Stockport County in a mid week fixture. I fell in love with the Villa then and I ain't stopped since. Like my Grandad I also like to see how other teams are doing. I have fondness for The Welsh teams, especially the national team, as I spent a large part of my life in Wales. I'm looking forward to seeing Villa back in the Prem. I feel Villa are building a steady team and we have a very good chance of surviving. Mart Link to comment
