Read these boards since the days of Martin O'Neill, enjoying the transfer links, insight into the youth team (sir gary Cahill in particular), fan meetings where our voices could be heard, and sadly in more recent times for the gallows humour that saw us through the last 3/5/7 seasons depending on your view. When the administration threat happened I feared the worst, based on a lifetime of the Villa curse. As such, the fact we still exist is a bonus, let alone with new owners that seem to have a clue. Optimistic for the season, currently in the "Bruce is the right choice for now" camp, but hoping he can prove me wrong and look like he has a long term plan. Favorite Villa memory in person would be the 5-1 victory over blues, not in person is the league Cup victory over United, which is also one of my earliest memories. UTV! Link to comment
