Mick Dennis tweeted that in Lambert's career, Culverhouse has always done the training and team selections, and Karsa has always dealt with the tactics.

What does Lambert actually do?

That isn't the question though. I like Kozak as an option in our strike force. He offers something different. It isn't bloody black and bloody white.

And I don't think he offers much and wasn't needed when we had other needs. We disagree again, oh well.

If Delph churned in this performance last season we would be going crazy. Another excellent display from the young man to add to his collection this season.

Bacuna has been inconsistent at RB, but he's had good games there. Without Lowton in the team, I don't understand why people have a problem with this?

We will have to sell or loan out a player or two before we can buy any more. Kozak will be replaced in our 25 man squad by Holt as he is out for the rest of the season. Not sure what the deal is with Given as he is only on loan at the moment till february. I'd bet either Luna or Bennet will be leaving or dropped from our 25 man squad, my money is on Luna going back to Spain on loan. Sylla, Helenius or Bowery are the obvious candidates to me.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but players under the age of 21 don't need to be included in the 25 man squad to be eligible to play?

It's extremely hard to when certain posters are continuously negative. Yes, Holt doesn't look like the most inspiring signing ever, but why cant people allow him to play a few games for the club before getting on his back. 

 

Please let him finish top scorer, please. The backtracking/revisionism would be more delicious than the ambrosia of the gods. 

 

I would like him to be top scorer as it would mean that he'd have been a success. And that will be good for Aston Villa.

This one always baffles me. Why oh why did we get rid of him, probably on no more than 10k p/w. Really decent backup, and at the moment, would probably get in the first team!

I really don't see the problem. HH has actually helped the club in a way, certainly the forum has got a lot more positive since his post the other day. 

The football hasn't been good recently, I honestly believe that this is because Lambert has been setting the team up to not lose, considering two of our best players are out injured. When benteke and Vlaar are back, we will see big improvements in the football played.

Tonev's shooting is getting embarrassing . He's like that kid in the playground who would never pass the ball. Words need to be had with him. Albeit that one shot that took a slight deflection almost broke the net.

I think Lambert is encouraging him to shoot. There is no way that PL would let him carry on if he can't shoot. He must score a load in training I would imagine. 

I honestly think we defended quite well last night, apart from the first 15 minutes. Every set piece we seemed to deal with quite easily. They didn't look like scoring from Sessegnon's miss onwards.

It will be interesting to hear how the players react to Benteke coming back. From looking at the matches on AVTV, it looks obvious that the group are very tight knit.

I don't think he will be welcomed back with open arms at all.

Hilarious how he's spent almost a year telling everyone how he loves Arsenal, but now he's desperate to play for their most bitter rivals.

I'm sure his IQ is lower than his goal total last season.
